Why does the email and name fill auto populates my email and name in the form on my website? This is not something I want my donors to see when they are filling out the form
HI Taylor! That doesn't happen for your donors. That only happens for you when you're logged into your website with your name and email. If you log out and view your form you'll see that it's not auto-populated that way. Thanks for watching!
I'm happy to clarify here: That is being pulled from the credentials of the logged-in WordPress user at the time. GiveWP tries to reduce friction on the donation form as much as possible during the donation process, so any information that can be pre-filled (like the name and email address of the logged-in user) is pre-filled. To simulate how GiveWP looks for non-logged-in users, we recommend using an incognito browser window.
