Might have to give this vision board a go for this year. Also just wanted to say, as an artist it would be nice for someone with your financial means to support a local artist and purchase an original artwork for your kitchen. There must be lots of talented people in your area. Just think it's nice to support local artists in the current climate with AI and funding cuts, you'll get a great work of art and are doing a good thing for someone who might be struggling. Art is always worth the investment.

I did my canvas vision board during the first week of the year. I love the idea to break they down to quarters so I can make them easier to achieve. Thank you for this amazing tips. Now I am more motivated to start writing down them in smaller “goals/tasks”. I love, love, love your content about organisation a lot! It makes me feel like I can do it. ❤

Can’t wait for the art update. I agree, original art (particularly from a local artist) is always a good investment. If you’re keen to DIY, I’ve seen great ideas where people DIY a timber frame around some beautiful wall paper 🖤

Happy New Year! You are looking particularly fabulous! Love your vision boards and it’s a great idea to teach your subconscious present tense as if your goals have already come true!
I definitely think you can create your own abstract painting! And how fun would that be hanging in your home? However, I will warn you there are things you might want to investigate and do beyond a bit of splattering Jackson Pollock style! Funnily enough there is more to abstract painting than meets the eye. I follow several abstract painters on UA-cam that show you their processes. It’s fun to watch and you’ll learn so much!
I would recommend starting with some smaller canvases before going enormous! It’ll be fun practicing different techniques and combinations of colors. Who knows, you may pick up a new hobby! 🤷🏻♀️😊🥰

During pandemic my son and I made a huge panting splashing colors we liked on a huge canvas. It turned out like one of Jackson Pollock’s paintings and we love it. 😁 It is a lovely family memory. And we had a lot of fun making it.

@@TheAnnaEdit I used to work at a museum and we did a painting like this with a bunch of kids & I have it hanging in my house still. We (adults) put blobs of paint on a canvas and then gave the kids fun tools (paintbrushes, sponges, little rakes etc) to move the paint around. SO fun and honestly beautiful (plus you get a little control over color choices)

I have canvas inspiration - made one myself with stunning wallpaper from Arte - the feathered mural of a woodland scene. Got a canvas of 1m x 2m and pasted the wallpaper onto it. The breadth of the paper was 90cm so I used the remaining 5cm on each side to extend the wallpaper pattern in a pen drawing. It looks brilliant

I'd love to see a hair journey/retrospective video with old photos - the longer hair is reminiscent of original vdm days! With any inspo pictures you took to the hairdresser if you have them, would be so fun to watch
Love the sewing machine vision! I took a sewing course in my late 20s, and once I knew the basics, made a few items of clothing. But then it turned into a love of making quilts as big occasion gifts for friends (weddings, babies, etc.). Please keep us updated on your sewing journey!

Ralph is still a bit young for Florida (Disney World), wait until 5-8 depending on his height for rides. But if you want USA I always had fun as a kid doing nature stuff in Georgia/South Carolina/North Carolina. The foods great too, just saying.
Hope it’s not inappropriate to say, but wishing you all the best in tackling whatever health stuff you have been going through. It can feel like a daunting prospect, especially with the NHS under the pressure that it is atm. Hope you’re able to find answers/solutions ❤

Something that didn’t resonate with me in this video is lack of acknowledgement that it’s a huge privilege to be able to do 4.4 workouts a week. Time, resources, childcare, health, body ability - you’re super lucky to have all this to workout so much. Just a thought.

No you're right - I agree. I'm very lucky that I can usually squeeze one in in the morning before the little one gets up, or whilst Mark is doing breakfast. Will consider that next time x
