    Avi, thanks for recording this excellent & very educational video. I was wondering if you can use the KM 100 to program the remote for the Ford Fiesta.

      Hey. Thank you for your feedback.
      The remote part of this key (16 Fiesta), it depends. If it's an original key from the dealer, the chip is soldered to the board and the programming of the remote is done automatically when you program the chip, so, in this case the KM100 can easily program the remote.
      If you're using an after market remote - the chip is glued to the board and there's no metal connection to the board so, the chip and the remote programming is separate.
      In this case, the remote cannot be programmed with KM100, however, you can do an OBP (On Board Programming ) for the remote, you do not need any computer to program it.
      Let me know if you have any other questions.
      Avi.

      @@aviglocksmith Avi, have you program a smart key for a Nissan Qashqai / XTrail / Rouge (2014-2018) using the KM 100? Is there is a risk that the Body Control Module (BCM) can be damage? I am looking forward for your reply.

      @@kennydoolarchan9515 Hey. There's a risk only for years 14-18, BUT, the one of the steps in the programming, the AUTEL read the BCM ID, and give it to you, and also gives you a list of all the faulty BCM, you just need to pay attention before proceeding to make sure the listed BCM ID is not part of the faulty once in the list. Above 2018 there's no risk. Also, I only know about the US models Rogue with the faulty BCM. I'm not familiar with Different countries BCM.

    Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! I am doing this process this weekend. My issue is I have a n Xhorse universal flip key and Fcc id is CWTWB1U793. The Key Tool Max's Fcc id is almost exact but for a 5 button version. I am looking for the 4 button version like in this video. Should I generate the universal or shell out the $55 for the remote head like this one? Thanks.

    Thank you for this wonderful video and explanation. Sir, I have a question about the Autel km100 device. Is it a good device for a beginner and is it compatible with European cars?

    • @aviglocksmith
      @aviglocksmith  10 місяців тому +2

      Hey. Thank you, and I'm happy you enjoy the videos. It will do some European cars, some of the Land Rover some BMW CAS modules. But those inexpensive machines when using OBD, there's some risk to do the programming with them. since you need to back up some data and rewrite to the computer.
      So, in summery, Yes, it's possible to do SOME of the European cars, but I don't use it and I don't recommend using it on most of the European cars.
      I hope this answer your question.
      Avi.

    • @aviglocksmith
      @aviglocksmith  9 місяців тому

      Unfortunately, no. Instacode doesn't have this feature. That's why we use Lishi tools to decode the lock.
