I spent so much time on the Bionicle website as a kid. Hell, I still love these toys! They were hands down the best things about my childhood. The first time I ever got immersed into a world's lore, I still know how to write in the Matoran alphabet. I wish the movies were better, like, I always liked these animation's better than the movies in terms of style. I hope Bionicle gets a better cameo in the next Lego Movie. I appreciate that they cameoed the original Toa, but still, I wanna see them in action.

Love how the low quality of the music and the video that still hold up to this day for not only the Bionicle Fans, but holds for the nostalgia for all the kids for our hearts.
I know that we've got the Bionicle series back. Still, it'll never be the same. It was what, five years ago when Bionicle went on hiatus? Hero Factory destroyed what hope I had left. What kind of hero is built in a factory? How could they pull that, when the Bionicle series felt so complete? There was good. There was evil. I don't want to come across as some sort of hipster, but they did things right back then. Still, I'm not shunning LEGO. I am grateful for what we got, and for its high quality. I'm just not sure why LEGO made that decision.

There's so much lost Bionicle media... Like this music video. I wish its quality wasn't this bad, lol. But it features so many clips that you just can't find anywhere anymore. Like those stones falling on Takanuva which he then deflects back at his attackers. Or those short flashes of Toa Kaita stone statues. These are simply impossible to retrieve. BioMedia Project doesn't have them. I remember there were also cinematics like Vakama discovering the beached, empty Toa canister. So much has been lost over the years. I wish more of this was archived.
I think they could do a rerun of all the Bionicle collections that has come through the years so every fan and every new generation gets to grow up and live with the awesome and fascinating world of Bionicle. Great video! Peace!
This was maybe the first music video I watched on YT way back and thought it was the coolest. Honestly Bionicle was the coolest toy/Lego of its time and it saved the Lego company. It’s a shame they tossed them to the wayside when they got really cool with the guys who could fly in 2012 or so.
I remember putting my bionicle in a box, now I've opened it. I had hordika whenua, one of my favs, is gone and all I got is the arm. Don't throw away your toys if you think u don't want them, in a year you could want them or they could be valuable
All it takes to be a hero is: 1. an awsome mechanicle gear set on your back that makes ur weapons swing in the speed of light. 2. Getting the mask of light 3. Breaking out of the spinrack cacoons 4. Flying through the transportation tubes in matro nui (hope i didnt mix world names) 5. Not mixing names 6. The fucking 90s-2005

BIONICLE was the pinnacle of LEGO awesomeness. The sets were intricate and well-balanced, they had unique and colorful designs, and it also had a well-written story. The closest today we can get to that is either Hero Factory (not THAT bad a substitute in terms of sets, but the story...ugh) or Ninjago (somewhat fleshed out story, okay sets).
Oh man the memories, this was back when bionicle was cool! I mean I'm too old to be playing with them now but I've still got some old ones built in my closet. Dang, talk about nostalgia.

@MasterBrutaka I think that Hero Factory's just as redeeming as actual Bionicle. Hell, they only difference is the lack of gears, and it's just like the beginning of the Bionicle series. I'm sure it's just as promising.

You know what they should do? Kids won't know about bionicles anymore, so they should release a freeroam RPG bionicle game aimed at teens and up. Not only would it be pretty simple considering the massive world they created, it would also sell well, being a more darker, action-packed, and violent game than bionicle heroes was. They have enough lore to focus a story around several old, or new, characters, and give them powers. I mean, come on, bionicle has got everything you need to make an RPG.

It just doesn't seem like it has the potential for an epic story like that of Bionicle. Then again, what could ever have come of a handful of heroes on a weird island terrorized by a dark power? Not something nearly something as awesome as warring factions battling for the fate of a universe - or so we would have thought!
I thought I was the only one,yeah bionicles story was about robots living in a world like Zelda.Using crabs as transports,feed rahis, discover new secrets,etc. Now on they are about super astromech robots living in a technologic world or fighting in a Colosseum . I hope the summer 2009 sets are better.
