‘AuntyJi’ is a sweet slice of life tale that follows an important day in the lives of Parveen (Shabana Azmi) and Geetika (Anmol Rodriguez).
Parveen is a lonely Parsi widow while Geetika is an acid attack survivor, they both belong to entirely different worlds, but destiny brings them together to make them realise that they share a lot more than what meets the eye.
As they share their dreams, sorrows and beliefs an unlikely friendship is formed.
The 20 minutes short film is a gentle reminder to follow your heart, chase your dreams and let no external force come in the way of living your life your way.

The ironic part in this short film was that Gitica was moved from her seat cuz she was close to the door where clients and other people can come however, the company wanted to use her face to board-cast diversity or like second chances! That just shows how Great the writing is!!

It is really important that we understand how we are actually hurting the person when we try to sympathize with them and feel pity for them. We must treat them just as a normal person. Just don't try and show your concern, make them feel normal that is what actually helps. Acid burnt her face, don't let your words burn her heart.

This story is so beautiful. It remind me that we people need to change our mentality. We protest against repost, acid attack, for justice for victim. But how we treat them. We need to change ourselves. Surviving a accident it doesn't mean we have to treat them a a victim forever. They are still human.
