Look at the slow motion of Flo’s form. She is bouncing and nearly floating off the track. She remains relaxed, keeps her form, and maintains her speed. Say what you want about her, but those mechanics are a master class in sprinting.

So Flo jo ran a 21.34 in the 200, that mean she ran 10.66 a 100 meter, but she have to go around the curve part of the track before she hit the home straight away in the 200, I’m saying that because she has the 100 meter world record at 10.49, but they don’t believe she ran that time do to the wind thing messing up or something like that, but her 200 meter run in that same year should have prove ever doubter that, she might had ran the most superb 100 meter in women history, along with everlyn ashford the great, them sister back in those times where a different breed, they don’t make American black women like that any more, these women and men rely on technology to make them the best, but all it take is a heart to win

I was around at the time. I am an avid track fan and athlete. I do not recall a single story implying she took peds. It wasn't until when she died I heard people began to speculate.
SHE TOOK DRUG TESTS A MILLION TIMES. NOTHING!!!!
@@yvettelyn8183 Exactly she was the most tested athlete during the 88 Olympics. She earned those medals and those Olympic records with hard work and dedication.
@@Phephe00 Nonsense! A season or two before Flo Jo wasn't even close to running those times, she was a mediocre sprinter with inconsistent results. Check her history up to the 88 games before the rapid transformation with her body and times, it's very difficult to make such a vast improvement so quickly, hence the speculations about drugs. Plus all avid track and field fans know the 88 games were riddled with PE drugs, some were just better at not getting caught. As a point of reference, Marion Jones was tested multiple times and cleared and we only knew she was on PE drugs because she admitted to it.
@@todye4 She also Change coaches and changed her training style. It's not difficult to make that change if you put in the work. I understand having pride in your country, but I don't understand why it becomes such a rivalry between these 2 specific countries. Both countries have excellent runners Kama and you don't have to put the other runners down from the other country just to make yours look better. Not to mention Flo Jo was tested numerous times during the 88 Olympics because people kept saying she was doping and each tiwe're in each time hard drug test came back negative
@@Phephe00 She changed coaches after the ran those fast time in 88 at the US Olympic trials. as I said her time leading up to 88 were mediocre compared to the competition. Her fasted time in 84 was 10.99; athletics was a part time activity for her thing for her - she didn't participate in competitions as much compared to her peers. She even stopped completely 85/86. She returned in 87 with 10.96 PB and finished that year with 11.13. She started her season very late in June 88 first race 10.89 then 10.99 before US trials where she ran those ridiculous time (some wind aided and I do thing her 10:49 was aided as well because of the conditions that day and all other times clocked a wind reading). So for someone who didn't have a lot of races to get into form for the trials and still ran those times it is highly suspicious. With other top athletes today you can see the incremental reductions in with the PBs over time so it's not a surprise but with her she just doesn't have the enough results that supports the 88 times.
1983 11.06 Bruxelles (BEL) 26 AUG 1983
1984 10.99 Berlin (GER) 17 AUG 1984

1987 10.96 Köln (GER) 16 AUG 1987
1988 10.49 Indianapolis, IN (USA) 16 JUL 1988
I am not sure what 2 specific countries you are referring to because I never mentioned countries in my initial replay to your post so I am a little confused with your accusation. Furthermore, my country was not in the women's 100 finals at the 88 games so not sure who I was trying to look better.
