The Polaris Black connectors are made out of 6061-T6 Aluminum to which you are connecting copper stranded conductors, is this a concern that we are joining very dissimilar metals at the connection joint?
I have done this over 100 times, why am I watching? Am I an electrical addict?
Love it bro!
Besides crimp sleeves and split bolts which both suck thats about the ony way i would know to splice it
Hey man I just got my LLE a few days ago and your videos was the main reason I passed. I want to go ahead and try for my CE 's. Do you have any content or advice for the business and law side of the exam? Are the electrical questions for the ce's similar to the lle exam or harder questions? Just trying to figure out what kind of material I need to be covering so I can start studying.
Congratulations!!! Just keep grinding on the website and do every practice test you can get your hands on for the CE. I do not have anything for the business and law but with some good tabbing it should just be a keywork and index process
Just got my J card today
Congratulations!!!! 👏
@@ElectricalCodeCoach these videos were helpful
I'm testing in a couple days any tips?
You can do it! Don't let it stress you!
🎉
Can one of these be used for a automotive starter wire?
I like this but they are expensive I see.
Right on bro
Can these be buried underground?
This was a great video. Does that splice lug need to be in a box?
They can be installed anywhere that you have the capacity
Im located in TN also
Can I go from 4/0 aluminum to 2/0 aluminum with Polaris taps
The lugs will be rated with the size of wires that it can hold. Definitely work with your local electrical inspector!
