North Yorkshire, Village tour. Heartbeat & Harry Potter tv/film sets (Hogsmeade station) - Goathland

We got to visit the villages in North Yorkshire. We love visiting these three places in one go. Sadly, we got to Goathland late, but it was amazing to see the train that was at Pickering (which I didn't get to film) come into Goathland. Grace thought the smoke was a ghost. (We are currently in the ghost stage, but we always believe we see them)
I love Pickering as it has shops. That's my style. The hidden market is my top place to visit and the staff are wonderful and helpful. The book shop we love popping in the guy who runs it always helpful. Plus, you can take your books in and get some money back or money off your other books it's confusing, but we got some great books.
Seeing two places where tv shows are or were filmed. Heartbeat show was filmed at Goathland
Plus Goathland station is featured in Harry Potter for the Hogsmeade station..
Then Bangers and Cash at Thornton le dale (think this show is still on)
You must try to visit North Yorkshire. A beautiful place great views. But careful in Goathland, the goats love to wander.

We holiday up in North Yorkshire yearly for two weeks at Easter time. These are our top places to visit. My husband will spend am hour at the Bangers and cash garage. So I go for a lovely long walk around the area. Pickering have beautiful shops. Hidden market. I will agree is outstanding. My kids love visiting Goathland as it's due to Harry Potter we visit. The actors stood here. The train was going this way it's amazing. I would recommend North Yorkshire for a holiday.
