I think I'm gonna be going with these from pepboys as well. Buy 3 get 1 free free install and $100 back. Looks like it will come to just about $400. I'm in New England so we got lots of snow and rain. I'm running Toyo tires ATM and I'm taking them back with me cause they aren't balled or anything. Thanks for the review!
Be careful as rhese are disconnected . Supposedly they're exclusive to pep boys but I was told they're revamped and called ku22! They are not! They say 4×11 and look old and a bit worn and I paid 700. My concern is before they were discontinued my previous pair never held air. Id go out and at least once a month a tire was at 10 psi or flat! Which means they were old then like 7 years sgo. Any ways theyre on my car now. Let me know if you get them if you experience them looking worn/ oldish. Thanks!
I'm about to get these put on my 2008 Buick Lucerne CXL. they were a great price on top of they look Very Very nice and from what I've seen they are a very good all-around Tire especially for the price.. where I live I get summer spring fall and winter.. so I don't like buying a bunch of different tires for season changes.. wanted something that handles well in heavy rain Snow an slush and be able to handle and withstand the high temperatures we get on excess of a 100° degrees and lows of 13° sometimes 5°. so I was asking for a lot out of one tire and this seems to be it.. I've got the 45000 mile tread life warranty on them.. I can't wait to get them on the car see what they look Feel and Handle like.. getting my crystal red baby some new shoes..
I realize this video is 3 years old but are you aware these were discontinued? I have them on my car and kept them forever because I've only ever had khomo. I searched for years and all of a sudden I'm told pep boys is the exclusive carrier of them but they're called ku22. So I was told they're a bit different. I had them put on less than a month ago but what bothers me is they say 4×11 on them and look wornish/ old. So when they sit for a long time they go bad! I don't drive many miles and they seem find but look worn! I had issues wirh my previous ones from 6 years ago holding air after having them on about a year. I don't even know what I'm trying tp comvey reallly? But I'm glad I was able to get a tire that's been discontinued since about 2016 or so but i feel I'm being lied to and these are like 7 yeaes or older tires pep boys bought up when they were discontinued and lie about..
I’ve got low profile 19” Khumos and here where I live, the road is terrible..they pound with every crack bump and pothole. Someone please tell me how I can make my car pound these potholes less.. they are beautiful rims but I hate the pounding, I’m seriously thinking about switching to a 17 or 18 just to reduce stress while driving anywhere.
I have some on a 94 mustang and I drove in some light snow (maybe like half an inch accumulation on the road with no salt in the road) and they did great. Really good in the rain too
Just happened upon this video because I was needing to replace 2 of my Kumhos. Weird that my size is made in Korea and these are made in America. Anyway, I feel it weird that 2 of mine wore out so much faster, as they were rotated properly. They are pretty much worn just short of 25k miles.
I believe this company was sold over to China. No longer Korean brand, so I don't know how that will affect their quality. I was a big fan of this brand on my old bmw.
Thanks. Buy 3 and get one free sounded like a pretty good deal, so I didn’t shop around for prices. That’s why I put the price in the video, so people could tell me if I got ripped off, and they would know what Pep Boys charges. It would’ve been cheaper without the alignment, but I needed it.
I’m looking to buy a set of these tires. This is an old video so I wanted to ask your final thoughts on the tires and what mileage did you get out of them?

Hello. How are the tires holding up?
They’re still working great.
Do you still have these tires and if so did you do any driving in the snow this winter? If so how did they do?
I still have them, but I am in Southern California, and I haven’t been in the snow with them yet. They do work well in the rain though.

I hope my last longer than that. I’ll make a follow up video in three or four years.

Just checked IL tax on tases it’s $48 .... wow Illinoise
it cost more for my 370z :( just because the rear tires are bigger.
In California, they tax the air that is used to inflate your new tires. Lol 😂
bruh they charged it for me for free
I've just always liked the name of these tires...... bu............ Yeh.. I'm a perv.... and a child.
They should get Beavis and Butthead to do their TV commercials.
