I don’t know who would read my comment, but boy i gotta tell ya, i had a weird issue with my toyota corolla 2004 that only lose power on one steep hill with lots of black smoke, and no code at all. We cleaned the Maf sensor, diesel filter is clean, air filter is clean, catalytic converter is clean, and yet i still had issues with it until we cleaned the EGR then baam that fixed it To all toyota lovers consider cleaning the egr before thinking for an expensive repair I hope that my comment finds you well
hello I have a Toyota Yaris 2 diesel 2007, I have EGR coolers, and if I remove the hoses, some fluid will leak from the radiator ??? then you only need to add it? I am asking because I want to clean the EGR job? and after installation, the liquid will fill itself?
Hi there, I have engine light on showing issue with egr. If I unblock like this and reset fault is this enough? or will I have to get a new egr valve to keep engine light off?
@@Magnum094 I need to clean mine my engine cuts out under load I have to flick the key off and on to carry on was asking if yours was similar mine has never been done 178000 miles. Did you clean all the egr system there may have been alot of carbon in it.
@@mattlawton4715 oh there is no issue with engine power or cutting out with mine. It has ticked over to 180k km. When I took off the original egr the inlet port I believe...or outlet was stuffed. Do you think a clean out will sort it out again?
Hi, my check engine light is on and when i unplug this 6 pin connector i see one pin is broken...could this be the problem and can i de-pin it somehow?!?
@@frederic3498 these little engines are long lasting. Don't know about the mk3 yaris, but I see many mk2's like this and mine around where I live, all in the 200.000s!

Yes, you must add liquid to the optimal level in the vessel.

Hello! You could clean well EGR, see how long the witness is on. If the engine control lights up again. Change the EGR
