  • Hey y'all,
I wanted to give an update about my new vehicle! I recently got a 2023 Subaru BRZ to replace my 2nd Gen TSX. I will be doing videos on this car from now on. I greatly appreciate any of my TSX subscribers for supporting me throughout my journey with the car.

I used Noico 80 mil butyl. To install it to need to remove the carpet/covers/door panels. You then use isopropyl alcohol to degrease/clean the panel. Once it's dried, you'll cover just enough of the exposed metal for it to pass the knock test. You then use a roller over it.
You do not need 100% coverage, 25% is the sweet spot. Butyl does NOT block road or wind noise. The butyl functions to reduce resonance vibration. In essence, it adds mass to the panel to prevent it from vibrating while driving.
