I'm currently using realme buds air 2. I believe the latency is on par with my previous haylou gt1 pro. I'm thinking it's because of the phone as my android is mi 10 pro which might have superior Bluetooth chipset. I saw your poco x3 is using SBC codec instead of aac which what my mi 10 pro used.
@@sobirin90 in the past I've found that AAC has consistently, slightly higher latency than SBC (although very little at around 17-24 ms), but yeah most likely you're right, latency performance has not improved significantly from the days of GT1 Pro

@@namedkenn it's a shame that latency performance on redmi airdots s is different between Android and iOS.
A huge deal breaker for me. I bought myself redmi airdots s as well, and disappointingly, only get SBC codec on my phone, thus affecting it's latency tremendously.
The latest updated version of gt1 pro isn't much of help either, I bought this as well. They ditch the gaming mode, says that it automatically activated when game is played, which I'm not buying it at all, and yeah it also didn't connect to AAC codec anymore, unlike my old gt1 pro which I do lost one of its buds :(
@@namedkenn im surprised on how bad the latency during your test because on my redmi note 9 pro, its better than my redmi airdots, i can't tell any lag at all when i use gaming mode. Maybe its because of different phones resulted in different test result?
Hi Kenneth I been following your videos for a while and made some purchases from your recommendations (fill T1 pro...haylou gt1xr...qcy t5) . Just a suggestion: as you progress to review new earphones it would be good to continue to rank them against a list so we know where each stand.

I just bought this last month in php its 1990 and its really good with the price even in game mode its good enough in pubg the sounds location is superb it was so good i was not able to prevent to trash talk in my end while playing also you can use it even when having shower with ipx5 rating very worth it

I tried this realme buds air 2 neo. They recently have the software update on the volume control thingy.. overall i can recommend to those who wanna try to experience ANC for the 1st time. Design overall is very cheap feel, got some scratches on it. Bass boost is nice, transparent mode is clear and the normal mode is fine.
Hmm I just checked and the latest update (1.1.0.101) is fixing a 'problem of low volume in some scenes' which I never really complained about, still no volume control though but hey I've sent a feedback so I've done my part, hopefully they'll add it in the future

Hey Kenneth, I just tried my air 2 and air 2 neo and both of their microphones do not work. I used the built in voice recorder of my Samsung galaxy A71 but I can't hear my voice even thought it says that the recorder is using the external microphone. At this point, I don't know if it's either the earbuds or my phone that has the problem. Appreciate it if you can help me, thank you!

I have many iems but no tws... the fiil t1 lite is on the way. The features are tough to beat at this price though... Seems like this would be a good complimentary set to the fiil. Might pick up the stem version. Enjoy your content, thanks for taking time to share your research and review.
Fill t1 pro , or Samsung buds+,or realme buds air 2? Cost is no issue here because the buds + are costing only 60€
I bought these. I thought the ANC would BE game changing because of the rave reviews from UA-cam, but honestly, keep your expectations in check. The ANC is average at best. It might muffle a sound a bit, but I think a good seal with KZ SKS (no ANC) is better sound wise and noise isolation-wise. It never wowed me. I think the low price is a good indicator on what you expect

It depends on whether you need ANC/Transparency or not, generally the Edifier is going to have a better sound
Is there any other wireless buds that you would recommend that are better than this in the same price range like below $40? I want something that is versatile and can perform well in edm musics, modern ncs kinda songs, and even audiophile typa musics like jazz, country, clasicals, (but of course not audiophile-quality buds cuz thats impossible in this price range), but yeah, something like that. Or maybe just something wired, as long as it got super sound quality for music. A recommendation would be much appreciated

After 1 week of use, I I felt, the bass is too muddy...and the sound is coming from under water...The case got scratches easily... BUT.....other features are great at this price like...ANC..Comfort...Design...Battery backup... App support etc
Just bought them and I'm very satisfied, especially for the price of 36€ here in Europe. Good looks, good sound, just a good package all around.
I actually was a bit confused about the naming schemes of realme, because in other countries the neo's are called Q2, and amazon also has a picture where it says Buds Q2. But in the end, I received the right product.

Compared these against the Samsung galaxy buds+ and the Neo sounds a bit muffled. But can't complain they have lots of features for something below 30 euro.

What do you think about new SOUNDPEATS Sonic Pro? Will it be the best 50$ earbuds or will it loose to other?
Currently in testing but unsure if it could beat anything, it's mostly the same now with a mid focused sound
Been using it since February this year. My review, the quality amazed me for its price but I'm experiencing some issue. Now the left bud drains quicker than the right bud around 40% difference. It also disconnects a lot, but it reconnects again. Sometimes Spotify can't detect the earbud even though it is connected and detected, I have to reconnect it again. Sometimes I'm having a hard time connecting it to the point that I have to reset the pairing from my phone. The touch sensor is very sensitive that sometimes it detects the fabric of my pillow as a touch/fingertip. I am using a Realme XT device so it should be more compatible than other phone.
I'm not going to buy any realme wireless earphones again soon. I'll try other brands with trusted quality.

Yes it is wireless, but I've found that the results on my Sabbat G12 review the numbers matches my previous tests so don't worry, the mic doesn't add any latency

The cost itself for Redmi Airdots around 150K IDR (found it also on offline store with same price, but you know most thing that available at offline store was fake product) and while Mi Basic 2 around 250K IDR

As for AirDots S unfortunately it is not available in the marketplace anymore, the Basic 2 is *not* the S, talked about it in a video back then (red box vs blue box), I've seen another version called AirDots 2S (or Basic 2S) that has game mode, but not sure if it's the same
Anyhoo, beware of fakes for the AirDots, it is the only model out there with fakes all over the place

Just finished searching info about "Mi True Wireless TWS Earbuds Basic 2", basically it's better version or i can say it's Upgraded Version from "Redmi Airdots Series"
Maybe they won't make us confused about their product since "Mi Earbuds 2" have better Sound Quality also low latency as well compared to "Redmi" one so yeah the price will be worthy

What would you say the best budget pair of earbuds would be for talking on the phone having great/best sound for music?
If you can expand your budget to say $100, no other earbud can compete (at that price) to the 1more ComfobudsPro for their microphone quality, also superb sound calibre. Anc is also quite good if you need that (also, now they offer them on Blue and my god!, they're a beauty), but if you keep your budget in the $50's either the new Soundpeats Sonic Pro (double balanced drivers aside, still tuned to offer rich and overall clear Bass, 'cause soundpeats, mics are also decent for the price, great battery life) or the Edifier Tws1 Pro (more on the balanced sound signature with also good enough mics and battery life).

@@g.9814 Realme Buds ang kinuha ko. Solid yung tunog, ^_^ effective noise cancelling, at magaan sa tenga (hindi nakakapagod suotin), medyo may bug lang sa connectivity kasi minsan nagcoconnect siya sa ibang phone hahaha! Hindi ko alam kung dahil sa app or sa software.
Overall, I would say 8/10.
Minus point yung sa connectivity kasi minsan nakakairita yung nagpa-pop-up na prompt kahit connected naman na sa device mo. Nnd another minus point kasi hindi daw maganda yung mic, according sa mga nakakausap ko sa call (messenger).

Hey, i just wanna ask if the firmware update for your neo was successful. Because i tried updating mine and got stuck in 50% and failed. after that the left earbud wont work anymore. Did this happen to you too?
Both the Neo and Air 2 were successful on the first try. You should probably contact your seller, or go to a service center and ask what to do

They recently got firmware update after which they stoped working completely!
Edifier lolli pods pro is better than or on par with most anc buds under $300. And it cost only $50.
I'll have to try it out, but I've yet to find any ANC under $100 that could rival the big names out there
The latency should be better consider their $12 neckband has really good low latency.
What is noise cancelling does it mean that when they talk you won't hear them
The term ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) means it listens to the outside noise and tries to cancel it with an anti-noise frequency, it’s not perfect as like you won’t hear people around you at all but it does a pretty good job reducing the surrounding noise
