There are actually two fuse boxes and I will show you both in this video and how to check the fuse on the VW Golf.
This is the VW Golf Mark 6 2008-2014.

Ray Estrella I'm not sure but I did a bit of searching and it could be the fuse for the Onboard Diagnostics Computer. But I'm not 100% sure on that

Ello mate, would there be a fuse for the start stop and also for the fuel cap lid locking system?
Not sure but there's probably a fuse for everything, but one fuse may do a few different things.
I have a 2004 golf and loads of uses
Don;t suppose anyone knows the fuse for the windscreen cleaner pump? The main wiper blades motor is the 30amp one in the middle of the main engine fuse box but I'm unsure if there is a separate one for the screenwash pump
It will probably be an internal fuse so try those ones. Good luck.
Hey it’s unlikely you will see this comment but which fuse number deals with central locking? This is because my central locking works but one door (rear right) does not lock.
I read all comments! I very much doubt it is a fuse, if it was a fuse all doors would probably fail. Sounds like it could be a faulty sensor on that door or a split wire. Check that door thoroughly to see if you can see anything obvious.
The central locking doesn't work and my windows won't respond of my backdoors. Do you know a positie reason? The right side was broken earlier then the left side
Not sure I'm afraid. Sounds like an electrical fault somewhere. Make sure key fob battery is good, try a spare key if you have one, then check all connections on doors and boot to make sure they are clean.
Would this internal fuse system be the same lay out? My brother messed with my fuses the other day and now my rear wiper doesn’t work?

Not sure. I expect he has put a fuse back into a wrong slot or a dead slot (that has no function). Hope you can get it sorted

Not sure I’m afraid. If your brake lights aren’t working check bulb and connections first. If it’s only one side then doubt it would be a fuse, else if it’s both it could be a fuse or the brake pedal switch

Wondering is there a fuse for reverse lights?
Unlikely just for reverse lights, might be a fuse for all bulbs. If the bulb is ok the prime suspect will be the reverse switch around the gearbox which activates when you put it into reverse. Obviously all models vary but have a look at that area

@@apollocreed5391 not sure there will be a fuse for that specific window. Could be faulty switch on either side, try some Wd40 in the switch first or pop it out and check the wiring

So if a car doesn’t start and show some error codes when we run a diagnostic test. Will there be any possibility of fuse problems like fuse burned
That is a definite possibility but unlikely. Best to try and figure out what the error code means. Could be a fuel pump or injection unit. You can test all the fuses without removing them (link in this video). Good luck. Let me know how you get on.

Folau Vaka There is unlikely to be a fuse for an individual light. Best bet is to check the bulb and if that looks ok it will probably be the reverse switch not working (that's the switch that activates when you put the car in reverse).
@@LurgsHowToGuides Hmmm my left reverse light works but the right side doesnt. Tried changing the bulb to a new one and still no luck.
Folau Vaka Well here's the thing, some cars only have ONE reverse light bulb so it might not be a fault! Someone may have put a bulb in but it is not wired up! Check out my How To change fog light bulb on VW T5, this only has one!!
I had this fixed recently as reverse light was not working and had an MOT fail, but could not find anywhere where the fuse was located, spend 70 pounds to get it fixed. The fuse was located on the driver side and it was fuse number 4. I have a 55 plate number golf 2005
I took that out but still the windscreen water not coming out
Check all fuses, check the hose then you need to check pump has power when you pull the stalk
