Not hating or anything but shit was kinda mid tbh, way too quick and the robots felt way to like, costume I should say? Like no cgi Edit: to all the people who are saying this is a "teaser", I absolutely had no idea this was a teaser due to Ryan's title. Sorry for the mistake, and I also understand that CGI is always for everything and I understand people are trying newer models and ways of showing human like creatures and animals like James Gunn's recent movie GoTG: volume 3.
Scott asking Ryan if he wanted to react to the trailer is just the most heartwarming thing ever, genuinely one of the best creators of a franchise ever, guy must be unbelievably proud of where he’s at now
I just want to say, it's absolutely insane for a small indie game to come THIS far. One dude made a horror game as a last ditch effort to succeed in the video game franchise, and hit the jackpot. It went from something so small, to something so big. FNaF 1, and now we're getting actual real life Freddy's Pizzeria delivery services, a whole movie, like it is insane .
I would like to point out something from this teaser trailer. At 1:18 when Freddy and his friends are performing on stage the song that plays is called "Talking In Your Sleep" by the Romantics. The reason why I point this out is because this song released on the 14th of February 1983. Let me repeat, this song that was used in the Five Nights at Freddys teaser trailer was released in 1983. I'll let you chew on that information.
It’s crazy to think that FNAF at first was just a game that a bunch of UA-camrs played. But man it’s way more than just that now it’s gonna be a movie and the lore behind it is just great. It’s great too see how far this game and its community has come
I'm really hyped. Josh as Mike seems very fitting, definitely can root for the guy from the moment he's introduced. As for Matthew Lillard as William, damn, just a tiny snippet of him and I totally can buy it. Fantastic :)
Yeah Josh just really works with the idea of being "just some guy" that ends up becoming more heroic than you'd think, a bit like how he played Peeta in the Hunger Games. He KNOWS how to carry that unassuming energy about him just like how Matthew knows how to carry that hidden insanity. They're both perfectly cast in my opinion.
The more I see how good the movie is going to be, the more I'm convinced that Universal or Blumhouse has to do a haunted attraction to promote the movie. I would definitely visit the attraction! It would be a missed opportunity if they don't.

There already was one before!!! Sadly it hasn’t come back after it’s original release during halloween in I think 2017 or 2018 though. I’ve seen videos and the animatronics looked so cool in that haunted house!!! Apparently they where planning a ride haunted house but couldn’t in the end.
There is conceptual art of what the ride would look like though. Apparently you’d have flashlights to shine stuff on and hats (???) to wear to look like a security guard. Super sad it never happened though.
I would be pretty impressed if this movie gets released on the theaters and we actually get to see a whole story fit in one movie considering how much the timeline expands in the canon
Unfortunately, regardless if it's a teaser, the visuals look low budget and im hoping the story makes up for that. Also, since the animatronics looks super corny with the red eyes I doubt this will be the "horror film" many were originally looking forward to.
I feel like the shot where freddy's eyes light up is the best for making him actually intimidating. I feel like the scene afterwards with the red eyes is a little too over the top, and the super expressive eyebrows and eyes makes it feel more like Willy's Wonderland than fnaf. I'm still really excited though.
i agree with the red eyes. it just over the top. regular eyes blankly staring is much more creepy than red eyes. most of the audience are already grow up so they don't need RED eyes just to indicate the agressiveness
Yeah I was kind of disappointed with the animation style at the end. The expressions shouldn't be on their faces, all squinting, I was kind of hoping for smth more like the games, where u didn't need the expressions to know that they're feeling rage. I'm still excited for the movie and I bet it'll be amazing tho
the red eyes and also their facial features are over expressive, that makes them look like they are alive, not haunted. the number one thing that makes the animatronics scary are their lack of emotion. this could maybe be a dream sequence, that would explain the exaggerated emotions and also the red eyes

The detail in this is awesome. In the shot with the night guard walking into the main area, he looks so small. That’s the point! The doorway he just walked through is so much taller and wider than a typical doorway because of the animatronic’s. It also gives us a good idea on how big these guys are and that’s terrifying. When I was watching the pan around, the place looked very cartoony to me. Then I realized it’s suppose to look that way, this was a place made for kids of course it’s suppose to look like this. A place where fantasy and fun come to life. Now showing its true colors and you know something is wrong. I just imagined myself in the night guards shoes and it gives me shivers, just thinking of walking in there and seeing the scale of the place. Seeing Freddy and Bonnie squint down at the ball pit, is so menacing. I know there is so much more detail to nitpick at but, I want to save that for seeing the actual movie. I’ve never been so excited for a movie in my life. I’m so pumped to see this!

My only complaint is that the movie will most likely be pg13 and the eyes turning red, I wish they just turned black with the little white dot. But over all the animatronics looks amazing and I hope it does well
There are a lot of good horror movies that are PG-13. The red eyed animatronics are a little weird though. I'm not sure if it was done intentionally for lore purposes, or what
@@foxlyticalxd2562 if it does well, I don't mind it being pg13, but the red eyes throw me off, it's the typical "evil eyes oh no" it would be cooler if they stuck with the og black white eyes, it just shows a bit more of them being possessed if you get me
I'm not sure if this movie will be PG-13 or Rated R. But I won't be surprised if this movie is rated R, FNAF focuses on William who is a serial killer.
@@cory3171 William afton can go f_ck himself. Yeah I hate that guy even though he's from a video game. But yeah if this movie is rated R that would be so epic!
The trailer looks so cool I am proud to see how far the FNAF movie has gone from rumours to the actual trailer. Totally insane to see the massive progress.
Seeing the whole trailer when it was announced, is absolutely really surreal! All of the animatronics are very well made, and looks so accurate to the games themselves! The pizzeria setting and everything else are absolutely really good and incredible at the same time! It feels like the place could be real, and finally the teaser trailer itself is absolutely very well made, and fantastic at the same time; very short, but straight to the point! I'm absolutely speechless at this point. Even after 8 years of waiting, we've finally have the moment that we've all been waiting for. Thank you to Scott Cawthon, thank you to Jason Blum, tank you to Universal, and thank you to the whole team behind Blumhouse Production for making this happen! And I definitely can't wait for this whole entire movie to come out on October 27th!
After how my week has been so far, this has turned it from the most stressful to the most incredible. Thank you so much for sharing this with the community. You, Scott, and Blumhouse are absolute legends! :^)
@@CleanUpNick It`s called rage, dude, enough of these numb life feelings, say something you actually enjoy for a chance although excuse me, I did proofread that just that`s a different shade you`re thinking of
The one thing i don’t like about the Animatronics is the red eyes what i wish they did was the Classic Full Black eyes with small white dot’s because in my opinion they were a bit creepier then the full red eyes still probably gonna love the movie
I think they did it so you can actually see the animatronics in the dark with how dark the set is going to be in the film but it’s a teaser so they might change it or it’s already in the film
for me, it was the design of the animtronics itself because they were made from blender pretty sure by what i can see and i think having them more realistic like would be amazing for the movie but this doesn't bother me as much, i will still love the movie as it is and the red eyes bother me aswell which i actually mind so hopefully they change it
I'm completely out of words to say how a masterpiece Fnaf trailer has ever made, plus this will be so hype when the Fnaf movie comes out and thanks for sharing this Ryan man
The phrase "we're going to have so much fun together" was imo a beyond excellent choice because hearing it trusted me back all the way to 2015 because of Survive The Night
This is unreal, I have never played the game but I have seen Ryan's videos on the games, but seeing that FnaF is becoming a freaking movie. This is definitely a movie I am not going to miss
I noticed smth that might be of interest: In the scene where the security guard is "fastened" to the chair- the thing that the machine is about to put on his face looks like an animatronic mask (or the inside thereof).
wassup mate. thank u for posting constantly bc u make my day better every single time. that trailer gave me chills tbh like the contrast between it is amazing. i can't wait until the movie arrives
The animatronics look PHENOMENAL!!! Ngl I kinda lost my marbles seeing that shot of the security cameras! That is a perfect 1 to 1 recreation of the shot from the first ever FNAF 1 trailer. I can already tell that this movie is gonna be for the fans and that a lot of care and attention went into it. I am so hyped to see this. I am hoping, begging even, that at Halloween Horror Nights this year the Blumhouse haunted house goes with the FNAF theme. It would be a dream (or nightmare) come true to walk around the pizzeria and get scared by the animatronics
The time has finally come. We’ve waited YEARS for this and now, it has finally come true. I never thought I see the day. The rest of my week has been made 😊
This. Is going to be one of the best movies ever. 8 years ago, a jaw breaking game released. And today, it will be culminated in a movie. The hype is there.
I'm really looking forward the FNAF movie & the fact that Josh Hutcherson & Matthew Lillard are in it that makes me want to see it even more because they're two of my favorite actors
For being a movie based on a "Point & Click" game. Have to admit this movie has a pretty stacked cast! I mean you have Josh Hutcherson and Matthew Lillard (Freaking Shaggy, and the Ghostface!). Though such a missed opportunity to release it on August 8, though the official release is on October which is right on with the Halloween spirit. But anyways, I hope the hype lives till the very end. So excited!
Something I noticed: At the end of the trailer we see a girl sink into the ball pit, this is an Easter egg almost of the mini game into the pit with springtrap, just thought it was pretty cool
The red and expressive eyes look a bit weird for me out of context but that might change in the full movie. The saw part looks almost like a mask slowly moving towards Mike(?) like he's getting put in a suit. The movie definitely looks good. I'm excited to see more of it!
They don't look scary at all. They should've kept the expressionless death staring faces instead of the angry eyebrows and goofy ass red eyes. I'm keeping my expectations low because this looks like it's going for that Mr.Krabs ,horror move for kids, weenie hut jr route.
@@wednesday4620 As soon as it got announced i got a bad feeling about it, i knew before clicking on the trailer that i should keep my expectations low since almost all of the game adaptations we have gotten has been cheap pg13 goofy bullshit. Look i hope i'm wrong but deep down i know that i'm gonna see so many of the people who hyped this movie into the shadow realm hating on it like i can already see the memes and video thumbnails making fun of it
Wait a sec, if William afton is in the movie alive and well. And we saw in the past a spingtrap suit design. Does that mean there's a good chance of the springlock scene appearing in the movie?
8:29. My theory about the contrasting shots of the advert playing followed by the spinning blades is that they are both connected in some way. I think the victim will be clamped into the chair, see the spinning blades start up and the advert flicks on where the presenter says "we're gonna have so much fun together 😈" and the trap sets off. I think they're related in the manner of which the "so much fun" line is essentially the FNAF version of the typical "you can't escape, you will stay here forever" line you see in other films before the character is either killed or turned evil. That's my theory, just thought I should share it.
@@fredbearchannel976 trust me, I was a huge slender fan as a kid the disappointment on my face with a saw that movie, I was even huddled up with popcorn sitting with my family
The Freddy music box is enough to make a horror vibe. After being cancelled in the first game, they finally get to sing on stage. If the monitors are games😍. 4:35 Whao. 5:40 ww. 6:25 Love her long hair. 8:35 I was thinking of that too.
I don't know how people didn't notice this but, because everyone is talking about the leaks, they decided to release the real trailer so people would be inclined to talk about it instead of the leaked one, I think that's kinda smart for BlumHouse to do
The trailer looks amazing! But by the looks of it, it feels like another movie about evil robots. I do hope they explore the true lore behind the children and why they are like that
Same, I'm really excited but the generic red eyes and slightly angry expressions on the animatronics rather than the hollow black eyes with white pupils and the soulless expressions we're accustomed to makes it feel like a more typical rogue ai plot I've seen 100 times. I think it'll still be good and we've barely seen anything still but I'm really hoping the movie gets to explore more of the series' core.
@@dedsec_teewan Nah I get that, but I think part of what made the original game so successful was how uncanny the designs came across. The red eyes don't look uncanny, they look cheesy to me.

Maybe the red eyes will be for robot security mode, but then the blacked out white dot eyes will be for possessed, actually meant to be dark and scary mode
@@jerelo175 ooh, that might be a good way to put that. Although, I think something like that belongs more in Five Nights 2, when they actually has a security system we know of.
My criticism of the trailer 1.why are there eyes red and not white could have made them flicker a dull white hue 2. Why do they make robo giggle sounds why not the moaning of the dead kids like in the fnaf games or even the sound that occurs in the fnaf mini game when William dismantles them have them make that error sound mixed with the loaning of the dead bodies??? 3. Why the hell do they have spinning drills in there mouth
its just so insane to think that I was 5 when i first had played fnaf in 2015. and this coming out now, long after anticipation over the years just had filled me up with impatience man, can't wait.

Also a question, is the security guard meant to mention Mr Afton? The kids run away from them, and as Ryan mentioned, they may resemble the kids that are in the machines. There are a lot of good horror movies that are PG-13. The red eyed animatronics are a little weird though. I'm not sure if it was done intentionally for lore purposes, or what
@@foxlyticalxd2562 if it does well, I don't mind it being pg13, but the red eyes throw me off, it's the typical "evil eyes oh no" it would be cooler if they stuck with the og black white eyes, it just shows a bit more of them being possessed if you get me
@@firstnamelastname5574 Yeah, Idk about the red squinting eyes...
I’ve been waiting for the FNAF movie for ages and I’m so happy that it is arriving on my birthday. It’s been a long wait and it’ll be so worth it!
2:19 HES IN THE MOVIE FOR SURE
Ikr! Especially when I`ve been seeing Dawko post screenshots of the set like whoa....
After how my week has been so far, this has turned it from the most stressful to the most incredible. Thank you so much for sharing this with the community. You, Scott, and Blumhouse are absolute legends! :^)
**WARNING**
**The animatronics do tend to get a bit quirky over night**
they do be looking quite baked at the end there
@@CleanUpNick It`s called rage, dude, enough of these numb life feelings, say something you actually enjoy for a chance although excuse me, I did proofread that just that`s a different shade you`re thinking of
@@djamtz chill it was a joke, responding to another joke
Can't wait for the first trailer and it's good to see Josh Hutcherson again. Haven't seen him for a while, glad he got a big role
They should change their red eyes to black with white pupils. That's how they originally be in the fnaf game
@@dante1alex white is literally the brightest color in the world. If the robots had white glowing dots then it would be very easy to see thrm
they still have 5 months to release, maybe theyll do what the sonic movie did, replace the eyes upon release.
@@helloagain.andagain.andagain OMG THAT SONIC MOVIE, Sonic looked so amazingly HAHAHA. But they fixed it.😂
for me, it was the design of the animtronics itself because they were made from blender pretty sure by what i can see and i think having them more realistic like would be amazing for the movie but this doesn't bother me as much, i will still love the movie as it is and the red eyes bother me aswell which i actually mind so hopefully they change it
Instead of the Red eyes as the Animatronics, they should’ve used the classic Black eyes with White pupils
Then quick tell it to Scott and Blumhouse
I'm completely out of words to say how a masterpiece Fnaf trailer has ever made, plus this will be so hype when the Fnaf movie comes out and thanks for sharing this Ryan man
The phrase "we're going to have so much fun together" was imo a beyond excellent choice because hearing it trusted me back all the way to 2015 because of Survive The Night
This is unreal, I have never played the game but I have seen Ryan's videos on the games, but seeing that FnaF is becoming a freaking movie. This is definitely a movie I am not going to miss
It's funny how all of the FNAF franchise started in 2014. Scott is an absolute legend 🎉
It started in 2014
And the movie originally was going to be released on 2019 but was delayed then 2020 delayed 2021 bam bam and 2023 released date
And Scott’s quite a absolute great guy for giving us a perfect redemption for a official FNAF movie
I've been waiting for this moment and I'm grateful for the effort that blumhouse and the cast put together to make this dream finally happen
Good thing they chose a great actor as Mike, it's been a while since the last time I saw a movie starring Josh Hutcherson
I noticed smth that might be of interest:
In the scene where the security guard is "fastened" to the chair- the thing that the machine is about to put on his face looks like an animatronic mask (or the inside thereof).
Bro the fact that this is releasing on my birthday is crazy!
wassup mate. thank u for posting constantly bc u make my day better every single time. that trailer gave me chills tbh like the contrast between it is amazing. i can't wait until the movie arrives
FINALLY, We’ve been more patent than Old Man consequences, Im actually Really Hyped.
So excited!
8 years, man. 8 years. it was worth the wait. ❤
So excited LETS GOOOO. They look AMAZING, although one thing I'm not sure I like is the red glowing eyes
Something I noticed:
At the end of the trailer we see a girl sink into the ball pit, this is an Easter egg almost of the mini game into the pit with springtrap, just thought it was pretty cool
Yeah we never truly knew how you got put in but if that’s how? Holy shit that’s a terrifying though
@@wednesday4620 As soon as it got announced i got a bad feeling about it, i knew before clicking on the trailer that i should keep my expectations low since almost all of the game adaptations we have gotten has been cheap pg13 goofy bullshit. Look i hope i'm wrong but deep down i know that i'm gonna see so many of the people who hyped this movie into the shadow realm hating on it like i can already see the memes and video thumbnails making fun of it
@@mr.bubbles4206 Many people here are delusional, over hyped. This movie might be "so bad it's good" kinda thing at best. I hope im wrong though
Wait a sec, if William afton is in the movie alive and well. And we saw in the past a spingtrap suit design. Does that mean there's a good chance of the springlock scene appearing in the movie?
Man just imagine making a indie horror game for it to turn into a movie and become such a big thing
That's my theory, just thought I should share it.
a decade of expecting this has paid off ngl. im probably gonna crap myself watching this
Even the real trailer still feels like a fan made one
Looks like one too and that’s not a good thing
I’m glad someone agreed on it, it kinda worries me. Including after the disaster of the slender man movie
@@heatherthetubby2458 yeah but nobody gave a damm about slender man there are still people who care about FNAF
I'm a bit worried about it
@@fredbearchannel976 trust me, I was a huge slender fan as a kid the disappointment on my face with a saw that movie, I was even huddled up with popcorn sitting with my family
The Freddy music box is enough to make a horror vibe. After being cancelled in the first game, they finally get to sing on stage.
If the monitors are games😍. 4:35 Whao. 5:40 ww. 6:25 Love her long hair. 8:35 I was thinking of that too.
its always a good day when ryan uploads
Us: We want Mathew Lillard!
Blumhouse: Alright, Mathew Lillard you'll get

The red eyes are a... Um choice but besides that it's fantastic
This seems amazing I can't wait
I've been waiting for this! 🌟😃
I can't believe it's finally happening. This movie looks fire!!!
never though that we would get to a fnaf movie, props to the creators of the movie
I’m really excited for this film, I love short films and fan made games for FNAF, and I know damn well I’m not the only one who’s ready for this film!
Indeed mate indeed
I don't know how people didn't notice this but, because everyone is talking about the leaks, they decided to release the real trailer so people would be inclined to talk about it instead of the leaked one, I think that's kinda smart for BlumHouse to do
Matpat watching this trailer after finishing the 23498th final episode Fnaf lore: *cries in corner*
The trailer looks amazing! But by the looks of it, it feels like another movie about evil robots. I do hope they explore the true lore behind the children and why they are like that
That is true but…I believe Scott wouldn’t do that to us…I think it will be chefs kiss
@@mosquitoe1508 I mean, the first game was
Basically that, evil robots tryna kill you
@@dedsec_teewan Nah I get that, but I think part of what made the original game so successful was how uncanny the designs came across. The red eyes don't look uncanny, they look cheesy to me.

Woooooo!!! I'm so hyped for the movie! And jeez that trailer actually gave me chills! 😅 It looks just like the game! The animatronics look amazing! I can't wait for the movie! Wooooo!!
I remember the good ol days when FNAF was just a small indie horror game
Now look at how far we've come
And i cannot wait for the future
Also if they show the bite in the movie i will scream from the top of my lungs... Well you already know
Amazing reaction 8Bitryan love your videos as always, and I'm also terrified 😭 too because it's just amazing how this is happening, and I couldn't be more happy and this is amazing
If Scott is the phone guy, man I’m sold.
I mean I’m already sold but still.
IM SO EXCITED. 5 MONTHS
They started filming 4 months ago. This next 5 months are gonna go by fast
The red eyes are putting me off a bit. They should've kept the black eyes with a white dot, much more scarier and eerier that way.
I wasnt a fan of the fluorescent red eyes, hopefully they take the approach of the blacked out white dot eyes instead
My criticism of the trailer
1.why are there eyes red and not white could have made them flicker a dull white hue
Yeahhh kinda lost me at the red eyes and buzz saws :/ like how tf do u missed the mark soo hard already 🤦♀️
its just so insane to think that I was 5 when i first had played fnaf in 2015. and this coming out now, long after anticipation over the years just had filled me up with impatience man, can't wait.
It's interesting to see the animatronics, especially Freddy, having glowing red eyes when entering their attack phase instead of the iconic white dots. Idk just wanted to point it out
What the internet did to Scott is unforgivable, us conservatives can’t breath a second without hate and the fact they threatened his family after every thing he did for us is sickening.God bless Scott,
r/persecutioncomplex
@@derekrequiem4359 but it was persecution/cancellation. They threatened his family and everything he stood for and had all his private stuff aired out with scrutiny.
Is it just me or does it feel like some parts of this movie just don’t fit right?
this is probably the most hype trailer ever
Growing up with fnaf brighted my day and now after all these years we finally have a movie
From a small indie game to a huge franchise with a feature film🤯
I am honestly hyped for the movie Ryan
I really like the music that they chose for the trailer "secrets that you keep" while showing the animatronics. I'm so excited for the movie!!!
LET'S GOOOOO I AM SOOO WATCHING THIS WHEN IT COMES OUT
Ryans the type of guy to react to a 40 second video and make it a 11 minute youtube video
Matthew Lillard as Afton is excellent. Its just one shot, but its so menacing, and he looks perfect.
Watching this gives me CHILLS! I have watched this trailer so many times already, I've lost count! I've been dreaming of this moment since I was 14 so now that it's finally here, it's bringing tears to my eyes and warmth to my heart. This is going to be an amazing movie, I just know it. 💖 Also, I love the song they picked for what the animatronics would be preforming to. Those lyrics in that clip, "I hear the secrets that you keep.", are perfect for it. 😂
I have so much feelings right now that words cannot comprehend, theres just so much in here. From the animatronics to the set and the actors like agahsgsgsh!
Im so HYPED for this! As a long fnaf fan, im so so happy how far Scott and his games have gone❤️💖
if this gets more parts i bet it will be the different fnafs like fnaf 2, 3, 4 and sister location
7:04
i have a theory that he is inside an animatronic i would say Freddy because i see glimpses of brown...
The red eyes sell the story
I just know that Mike is going to hate the animatronics the same way Ethan hated Jack in RE7. "This is getting old, Foxy!"
Also a question, is the security guard meant to mention Mr Afton?
The kids run away from them, and as Ryan mentioned, they may resemble the kids that are in the machines.
Also, the man clutching his hands looked like a psychologist.
And the part where he gets trapped may resemble the spring lock sequence, just in a different form?
I rlly can’t wait for this, fnaf is one of my most favourite games to exist, and now since we’ve got our first look at the movie(and the animatronics) i can say that i am beyond hyped for this movie!
i cried so much, for FNAF to come such a long way since 2014 is really emotional me
@8-BitRyan Even though i really don't like ur content or u as a person, i am excited to see the FNAF movie coming out
And we know it's gonna go right cuz Scott is straight up helping them make it. It's amazing. He will choose exactly how it goes and how to modify it correctly and perfectly. Scott never lets us down!!!
