c35 was produced in less numbers & was never made in manual is probably mainly why it's less known than a chaser

The laurel is a really great car, my neighbor actually has 2 nearly bone stock c35 and how I like to think of it the laurel is Nissan's answer to Toyota's chaser

RB’s just sound so damn good! I own a R34 GTT four door, I’ve been in love with this car since I straight piped it. Curious about these parts for the RB25 you speak of 🤔 been kinda hard to track stuff down a bit further east...
Some say the RB25DET Neo is Superior to the RB26DETT.
I have a C35 Laurel with a 25Neo DET, kept the automatic with shifter on the steering and manual shift mode, don’t want anything else.

for me,the gtt is more durable and driveable.
it is lightweight.rear wheel drive.less part equal to weight reduction.
gtr have to squeeze more power to acheive the weight ratio in gtt.

LOL! Welcome to the West Coast of communist Canada. For basic insurance here in BC we are FORCED to go through our state-run (also terribly run) auto insurance monopoly "ICBC". There is no free market in the auto insurance industry here as i'm sure you know by now. For additional coverage, yes, but there is no way around the base insurance that the province offers. (Which is ludicrously expensive as you're discovering now.) It's one of the reasons why I love the States so much haha. Real capitalism and, for the most part, a free market with loads of competition which means less expensive insurance in the majority of American states.. A ton more freedom and options in that sense. BC has, by far, the most expensive auto insurance in all of Canada and unfortunately it's just something we all have to deal with. I pay between $2750 - $4000 per year depending on the car. $5k/year is not unheard of either. Hope you enjoy your stay! ;)
If Joe down the street is able to sell insurance at a lower rate than ICBC and run a profitable business, I believe he should be legally allowed to do so. But he's not. **sigh**

You said that when the cars arrive in the states it goes up in value. Is it the US that is bringing the value up or is it in Japan?
It's the US demand about 12-24 months before a car is legal down there that continues to drive values up. Because larger import companies already have begun bidding and buying at the auctions and either holding the cars in Japan or Canada until they're legal in the USA. 5 years ago you could buy an R33 GTR for $15-20k here in Canada but now since they're US legal they've about doubled in value from what they were back then :/ It's a fun game to play! Haha
@@RoadsUntraveled lol then maybe you guys should relax on geekeeing out on those jdm legends which maybe would force the prices to go down when the importers see less buys cause the .ore demand the higher the values. So basically it's because you guys are obsessed with them that's why the prices for these old cars are sky rocketing. Lool but as you say it's a fun game.

Kinda a little bit cool, just a little. I guarantee everyone with one of these in Canada now has settled on it due to budget or they don't know any better. If you want a skyline it's GTR or nothing. And as far as sedans go, so many better choices...
The price difference between a GT-T and a GTR is literally $100k. I've driven multiple 34 GTRs and 34 GT-Ts, and yes, the GTR is a much more refined and epic experience. Is it one of the greatest sports cars ever built? 1000% Yes. But $100k better? Not at all haha. You can buy a gated manual Audi R8 for that price difference alone... You're right though, everyone with a 34 GT-T obviously settled due to budget. That's the same with anything though... By your logic no one should be buying 911 GT3s because the GT3 RS exists, nor any non-M BMW or non-AMG Mercedes or non-RS Audis. That logic I just can't agree with! Plus, tons of JDM fanatics prefer RWD over AWD :) DRIIIFFFFFTTTOOOOO

As cheap as these particular models are now, I'm saying there are still better alternatives. I just don't know anybody who would buy these, maybe a few years ago when they were dirt cheap to bring into canada, sure. But not now.

Right now I have an all motor EK, TSX and GSXR1000 as daily drivers but also have a TRD widebody MR2, 69 c10, grand national, mustang, a couple of 2500hd trucks, eg hb and a rust free ej1 civic coupe. I’ve had most of the iconic Japanese stuff, Z cars, NSX, rx7s and lots if domestic muscle stuff.

What is the difference between GTT and GTR?
GTT is rwd and gtr is awd, GTT engine is a 2.5L and gtr is a 2.6L. GTT Engine is also weaker in most aspects etc
YNG THØRNZ LOL no way is a rb25neo weaker than a rb26, if anything the rb25neo is more reliable , yes the rb26 can hold more power but rb25neo can still hold its ground
bayside.r34 a lot of people tend to stick the 25neo heads onto the 26block here in the UK for that reason

@@immizuchi7851 better for compression ratios man not about the strength of the head :) people also use 25 heads on rb30 bottom ends for the same reason man.
The Steering is only harder in the R34 GTT because the Steering goes into limp mode when you remove hicas. Here's a video of how you get around it.

Agreed!! R33 GTRs are still going for a bit of a premium over the 34 GTT, and for good reason. But when the US market is open to ALL years of Skylines, that's when we'll begin to see the true values settle where supply and demand wants them.
Yeh well ones a GTR and ones a GTT bud, r33 GTST vs R34 GTT would be a more fair battle but then again the 34 has the neo.
