I can't wait to see either you, Tim Wells or Buck Medly try it out in the field. I use to have a nice collection of Cold Steel products until a house fire four years ago. I'm just now able to afford getting a few new toys but some of what I lost has been discontinued for a long time. One I had was called the Red River I believe which was a mountain man style skinning knife. Y'all have some of the best bang for the buck products out there.
Oh yeah in a top note my cat Sargent loves watching cold steel videos,any time I try to watch the videos of cold steel my cat jumps up on the tv stand and will watch it I have a hard time seeing the video lol just had to let you know that mr. Thompson know that my cat loves you .
Good to have when SHTF, I am having problems how to have it on my body, looks hard to draw from concealment😁, maybe a smaller version to be with a cover so it would look like a walking stick. No need to hide it. Take the cover of, place it at the bottom to get more reach. Love Your products, ordred 3 knifes from Finland to southern Sweden, UPS mislaid them to Stuttgart in Gemany, it is like sending from California to Nevada and it lands in Toronto. I hope i will get them this week. Hidden Edge, Grik and the small Luzon, has some more in the collection, it is only one time you could have too many knives, it is when you are swimming.
Love your tools!! I wish I could post a pic on here of my cold steel collection!! It has some of my favorite pieces. My "Magnum tanto 12" in san mai is really amazing. I also have the tanto 9 in VG1-Sanmai3, and the original tanto from the mid '80's...
I cant think of another product with better value proposition for an apocalypse melee weapon. For not much money you get a weapon with a good reach advantage that can cut and thrust and also be thrown as a projectile. Yes guns are best, but ammunitions run out. And many people around the globe can’t legally own guns for self defense. I think it’s brilliant.

I just received mine, first impressions (haven't used it yet, going to refinish the handle before mounting the blade) all the welds look strong, good penetration and with a nice uniform bead on each weld point. I can tell the edge is sharp I just need to run the stone over it to remove the protective coat that protects the metal. The Socket is a good length with a slit on one side to allow a nice friction fit and everything lines up centered and even. Although we can no longer hunt game animals with spears I'm sure this will make a fine walking stick when hiking or camping

The Zulu Ikwla is a great short spear the tribesmen use, "lion killers". I will consider this one. Looks very accurate. Thanks for sharing. They all work great at high mountain camping sites for extra security reasons.

Either way, your back at the office for LUNCH! Lynn's not gonna need the morning to get a feel, become part of the weapon. LYNN is the weapon and the Cold Steel item is the extension and focus of his skill. And if it's a real field situation, you can ask a cape buffalo what happens after the spear throw. Lynn didn't miss his mark. With and after the spear! And dont talk to animals, that was rhetorical. The buffalo reacted appropriately at a spear landing in his horn(!) and charged close enough to see Lynn already had him lined up in the sights of the hand cannon. So see some accuracy and reaction time under pressure to manage your expectations while observing Living Legend Lynn. Had the buffalo survived the shots fired to close the distance we may have witnessed LLL no look catching a unreleased CS Spanish matador sword thrown to him by suspected camera man Andrew Demko, but this is speculation.

Since it spins like a football when thrown wouldn’t a besh wedge blade make better sense? It’ll be easier for the hunter to maintain the edge of the spearhead and theoretically create a larger wound channel. I don’t see people going after rabbits and squirrels with these so a big wound channel is a good thing especially if you consider the weight behind it.
