No, Charles should've had it right at the beginning of service which means that Charles should've have a sound check at the beginning of service, and I bet you Charles want to be paid but wants the point on paying Charles And he's not doing he's Job correctly!, Charles is being unprofessional if the mics is not right!
There is a place and time for everything. And this was not the time. I suggest you should have Hine parts to make the necessary adjustments instead of trying to be grand. I miss Judith Mccallister.
That's true but I understand his frustration because these mics should have been right at the beginning of service which means Charles should have had a sound check way before the service started!
rebuke should be carried out with patience, love, and the intention of restoring and building up the person being corrected. Was the intent to move the crowd (as manny applaud) in my opinion it is important to approach open rebuke with sensitivity and wisdom. Public criticism can be humiliating or damaging to the person being rebuked if not done thoughtfully and with the right intentions. Ideally, it should be done in a way that encourages positive change and fosters a supportive environment for growth and improvement. That rebuke was a walk and ear away not over the mike. Don’t dog me/rebuke over the mike lol COGIC Culture🤮
Also, in this specific situation he should know what all impacts how mics sound. Including folks with their cellphones and pacemakers and security radios and how folks stand and if the convention said they will have a max of 30 folks per choir and 200 get up there and grabbing the wrong mic. He needs to rebuke himself.
It didn't sound like you hated to do it. As a former AV guy, I know the difficulties of this work. Each choir has to do a sound check and their settings have to be saved . And listen it has to be done each day. And people stand crazy and some chew on the mic. They need to be riding the board the whole time. That mic would have been muted. And then I know COGIC not paying the real cost. And they go to grabbing any and every mic. All mics are not created equal. Okay I am done. Now I say all of this assuming the sound guy is a professional who has had training.
This wasn't as bad as everyone in the comments are saying AND he didn't say it was Charles' fault. It could be now they know the budget needs to be adjusted to get more equipment to help with getting the mics/sound system right. It appears that this is a continual issue and he is finally giving in to what Charles has been advising/requesting. *Coming from a former media manager so I know this feeling/experience...😣
I take back what I said. I'm at Dorsey and watching the guy on the boards I realize now that some folks ain't trained. First, they have the monitor tech lead controlling house sound and no one is sitting at FOH. Nooga, you cannot hear the stage on the side of the stage. Yall need more workers. And the cameras are sitting on a riser with the switch and 2 other people. They just don't know what they are doing. At the same time this should have been done before the program started.
I’m tired of you so call leaders not knowing protocol. They are the time and place for everything and open rebuke about microphone. That’s the business meeting setting not in the middle of a service.
You could have did that after church stop acting like you ain't got no sense do what God told you to do in Minister forget those microphones and they need to be alright then kindly say hey let's get this mic right so my voice can sound clear but you ain't got to do no open...like that man stop you
This is how you achieve bitterness and strife. People will not be bullied by these fake behind ministers. It's not even Biblical. The Bible go to them and them alone.
That is NOT how you achieve excellence. Only the immature would be impressed with this man's lack of proper communication skills to effectively correct this situation.
He could have easily walked over to Charles and said what he said
Right
A WALK ACROSS da room........ #EMBARRASSING. #JantJacksonCONTROL. #UNCALLED4. #BanADULT. #jeec 🥴🤔🤔🤔. no sir... ur. sick of urselF 😷🤕🙃🔥

@@chadaustin4339You sound foolish like him
He couldn't quietly walk over to Charles, who must be the sound tech, and tell him. IJS.
AWWWWWWW. mr. perfectionist....if i were charles i would have flipped him the bird and walked out.
That's too much the LORD is watching 👀
I would've turned them off and walked out💯

From this video I saw and heard that. He started by saying I hate doing this. But he needed the right sound.

Shout out to Hammond organists who kept playing throughout the rebuke. 😂 They certainly knew their assignment.
Why are they clapping... everybody wants to rebuke 😂😂😂
I hate to do this and still do it, wrong in every way. I hope Charles pulled you too the side and rebuke you 😂❤
I’m slow, what’s wrong with that mic?! 😂👀🤷🏾♀️

Testing should have been done before service. ... SMH.
And anybody that says they hate to do something.... especially like this... you don't.
You're right as rain! 💯
Are you in the media ministry or work a sound system. If not you don't know anything. It's more than just a soundcheck
@@jamessoloman1865 I don't give a damn, I do know it's more than a sound check. But That was out of order period. #Done

Folks need to pay for actual sound techs and not trainees.
That means COGIC won't hire professionals.
Open rebuke and open embarrassment at the same time.
What if Charles was told time and time again then what?!!!
Whoa ! ? ?
and that was on PERIODTTT 😆
Only Black ministrrs do this foolishness. Sad😢
Ughhhhh 😂😂😂😂

He could have approached this matter after church in his office. Stop embarrassing people pastors. Clearly, you don't have communication skills.
And look how he's holding the mic, Charles has to adjust for all of that on the fly.

Absolutely in decency and in order... That wasn't in order he knew they were having service.
Lord black folks got battered wife syndrome when it comes to the church. We just love abuse.
What kind of Pastor does this he sound foolish, where is God in him
Man of God you are a terrible leader, where is God in what you did.
