I love how they're just fooling around while the show is going on haha. So sad that Cinderella just closed three months ago, and I miss Laura Osnes! She's the best Cinderella.
I wonder if when Santino took Laura down and she screamed if the audience heard her… LOL
I don't think so, the overture was playing at the same time, but even if they could hear her, they'd probably mistake it for an enthusiastic audience member!

@@maryannkoretoff1023 in high school maybe. I know a few Broadway theaters that have noise buffers built onto the walls to mitigate the sounds of backstage going forward

It was funny watching the show after seeing this video... during the Stepsister's Lament I kept thinking of Santino backstage getting ready to catch the shoe.

Their mics are off and you cant really hear them over the music and the people who are talking/singing on the stage. And in it when Laura was behind the set she had to be quiet cause she was really close to the stage. Though when your not that close its fine cause you cant hear them anyways over the noise from the stage

Hahaha omg the broadway tackle is what you called it! Love it! Backstage looks like so much fun! I used to love being backstage when I took ballet!
I say we break with tradition and start the National Tour NOW as well as the Broadway run!! Man I so want to see this. It is so cool how Santino morphs from backstage shinnanigans to being in character. I thought for sure he was going to miss at least one entrance.

I know it’s been 7 years since this series was uploaded, but not calling the fish Finderella was such a missed opportunity.
The Vlogs are a brilliant way for people like me to see how these theatres and productions I haven’t heard of or can never see (being in the UK) work, and are genuinely wholesome binging. Could go through each of these series everyday.
The fishe’s name is a reference to a character in the show.

I just wanted to say that I love Laura soo much! If I ever got a chance to meet her, I think I would die. As a person who wants to be an actress, Laura is someone that I look up to. If she saw this that would be awesome!!!!!!

This is my favorite episode from any vlog from Broadway.com ever. They looks like they are having a blast working on this show. Saw the show last night and it's phenomenal. Laura and Santino are perfect on stage together and the show was truly magical. I want to see it again! It's a perfect blend of humor and schmaltz. Go see it!! And Santino caught the shoe last night :)

So we did this show this year, and we would be behind the main curtain during the overture, because we sang it live and the curtains muffled us in the wings, so we would just stare off into the distance during the prologue. But everyone would do the Macarena behind the main during the overture and the closing night we all hugged each other, and cried silently during the prologue.
I saw the show last night.... So Beautiful!! Met Laura and Santino (both soooooo nice)! I even asked them both how's Herman the Fish doing.
Her interview with Herman might be the most adorable thing ever. I do wish we could see a little bit of how they do those crazy costume changes! But it does look like they have so much fun with such a cool show!

Ira has the coolest job ever :-) I stage manage all of my high school's shows (I have lots of backstage vlogs on my channel). I love stage managing my school's shows because it's just so much fun and exciting. Ira gets to do it for real on Broadway for 8 shows a week for one of the most magical shows ever.

I love this show we’re doing it this year. It’s so fun. I’m only an ensemble part, but maybe I’ll get something good next year. After all, juniors and seniors do typically get the better parts.

Beta are alright in small spaces. Bowls like that are called "beta fish bowls" so it's fine for Herman!

I love in how of Laura's Grease's YTOTWW interview she says "there were girls much skinnier than me"-I love her modesty in that statement because Laura looks really underweight right for girl who's of medium height (she's 5'5). I met her up close in September and there isn't much of a height difference between us (I'm 5'3) but she looks even smaller than 5'5 in person

A lady that helped backstage at a school show I did said that we would never survive in professional theatre because we whispered and our shoes made noise. How much yelling is happening here? ALOT
I still don't understand the catching of the shoe thing... All the camera angles except the last one of that were way off so you couldn't see...
