Buzzfeed, Thanks alot for doing a video on Pakistani food but you mostly tried snacks that nobody really fancies on daily basis.
For proper Pakistani snacks you should've gone for Street Food that we usually enjoy with our families at tea time on Sundays. So here's a list of what you missed:
1. Samosa (chicken, vegetable) with different Chutney (sauces)
2. Pakoriyaan / Dahi Bhallay
3. Fruit chaat / Aaloo Channa chaat
4. Gol Gappay (Paani Poori)
5. Keema Kachori
6. Pakoray
7. Shaami Kebab/Burger
8. Shawarma
and ofcourse some biscuits that you dip in tea & eat ;)

Pakistan used to a "part" of India during British rule.. After India got its independence it separated itself from India as it was feeling insecure due to religion matters. So it's natural for both the countries to have same cuisine. BTW these type snacks are not sold much in India.

No we don't eat much of this stuff except for moong dal. I am from Mumbai and here only moong dal is what i can relate to. And Pakistan was a part of India.It's originated from that part of India which is now known as Pakistan that's why they are called Pakistani snacks.You can't call it Indian just because it used to be a part of India. Now the country has it's own identity. Plus such snacks are not sold much here in Mumbai as they are dangerous for health.

I live in Dubai and I have tried Good quality Indian Food; The taste is good and names of the Dishes are same but Pakistani Food tastes a lot different than Indian food with same dish name.

I've been, I've worked their too (as well as India, Bangladesh and Nepal.) It's a beautiful country but unfortunately the government is incredibly corrupt. The people are also incredibly intelligent and willing to help at a moment's notice. I've seen the silk route, SWAT valley, K2 Base Camp, etc and has huge potential to become a tourist hub much like India if it sorts itself out politically.
