House definitely liked Cameron. 1. He went to her house to beg her to come back. 2. He was clearly flirting when she was on the table with the surgical robot. 3. He is definitely enjoying kissing her. She's kind, beautiful and most appealing to House..smart.
I think he knew eventually she would get tired of trying to fix him and so he never gave it a chance, much like his do over with Stacey.

Hameron was so fun! My first ship ever. He liked her but he didn’t let himself take it any further cuz he didn’t think he deserved her. she wasn’t an angel either, quite flawed honestly but she challenged him and brought out the best in him

I agree. They had more of a connection than anyone else on this show. They kept building up this would-be relationship and never followed through with it. They build this flirtatious chemistry between the two characters. When I first watched this show I'm looking for the two to make it and become a couple, but it never happened. Wondering why they even had me invested in the dynamic, only to give up mid-season.

I think out of all the characters in House, especially considering many eventually had resolutions and changes to their character, Cameron ended up the worse. She dumped Chase, became seemingly more neurotic and compared to the others, she was the first to really have an arc in the show, only for her final resolution to be abysmal.

I was a big #Hameron fan, too bad we couldn't see more between them. But, she was only trying to fix him.
Relationships like that are built to not last. In the end their relationship would just collapse into a pit of frustration and heartbreak for Cameron, and a sense of shame, irony and prophetic forewarning in House with a splash of bitterness.
StarWarFan just exactly what happened with Cuddy. Ugh I can’t believe I didn’t see that at the beginning. Even when House said it at the end of Now what I felt like no Cuddy is different and turned out to be just like Cameron.
The only woman of the show who truly loved him the way he is was Stacy, close to it were Lydia and Domenica.
But it’s so frustrating Cuddy turned out to be Cameron 2.0.
I don't know the actress' name who played Dr. Cuddy, but did you see the episode of Frasier, that she was in? It was great, she is a great actress.

Yeah she was trying to change him that's true.. but House was also not a saint... He was self destructive... I think that kind of behaviour does need fixing... I agree with the whole " don't try to change your partner" thing... But what if he/she really needs help?? But just doesn't know it?

The only person who knew him better or had seen him in his most private, vulnerable moments was Wilson.
thebooky161 yeah right... Looks like you have missed a great part of the show then 😃 House actually tried to connect with her several times. In Season 1 - he asked her out on a 'date without a date part', and then he agreed to go on a real date with her, just to keep her close in the hospital. At the end of Season 2, while being in coma, he admitted there was sexual tension between them and even imagined undressing her with the robot. At the beginning of Season 3, he asked her out again after the operation. I don't even speak about this kiss and the fact that she was the last person in the burning building he imagined, and the one who was actually able to persuade him to stand up and live. At that moment, he realised that she was right all the way long - he indeed needed to change.
His feelings for Cameron were always somewhere in his subconsciousness - it was something he didn't want to openly admit for several reasons. He was very conscious about the age gap and afraid of this connection to fail just like with Stacy - so he preferred to push the idea of Cameron wanting to fix him over any other thoughts. But it was clear she was very important to him and he wanted her nearby. His union with Cuddy was more acceptable from several points of view: she was older, already had intercourse with him, knew Stacy well, knew how to manage him well, etc. It was easier to engage with her but she wasn't prepared to deal with his emotional unavailability. Too bad she was such irresponsible person - she should have known this would destroy House, but still did that to him. Cameron would never do that

There are some things you're interested in but never act upon - due to different constraints. If you judge about people's intentions only by their actions - sometimes you're missing the point.
