I remember driving old 2007 e-class on 2017. No radar or sensors for old models yet. But assistive brake really saved damage from a collision. I freaked out and kicked the brake, but i saw what the car reacted. 1. The system pulled the brake peddal further inwards to unimaginable extent. 2. Seatbelt went tighter into my chest. 3. Aircond and possibly all other electronics went blank out. 4. Once i take foot off the pedal, everything came back normal. Damn, that was freaking real for old car back from 2007!
+Dave Well I don't have the car anymore. Traded it in last month for a BMW. Had an incident last December. Was driving, and it had a power steering malfunction. Could not steer the wheel. Good thing I was not on the freeway yet. Traumatizing. Had no peace of mind driving it after that. So I gave it up.
at 2:00 when the pedestrian comes up.. yeah it will break for you, but what about the car behind you when it hits you? man that would suck... because you brake on time, but will be hitting the person anyway
+brosephjames -_- go check out crash tests for the damn vehicle. it got a 5-Star rating. it performed "Good" (The highest mark) in every EuroNCAP test. Benz4Life bruh.
Wow, amazing, where we've come today in the automotive industry, and Mercedes-Benz is right at the top of the ladder without a doubt as per usual.
I love my 2015 C300 4Matic, it's my first car for when I got my probationary license when I was 17. I buy nothing but the best, Mercedes is the best!

very nice ad
Are those safety features optional extra items or they are loaded in the base model by default ?
Extra
Some default some not.
very nice
So, when my dad did a power slide in the AMG and the seat belts tightened, we almost crashed? Well, we're not doing that again! XD
MERCEDES😍

That is why the system only applies the amount necessary to avoid the accident.
Just two words: German car.
just two words: Mercedes Benz
Nomad Vids :-)
The best car... Benz..
Best sport car..dream car.. Ferrari.
Is this standard tho
Audilife unfortunately not. It's better than nothing though...
Some are standard. Some are not.
Gee Scooby. But why does my trunk stink? ):
Their computer system is showing simulating how to engineer for the safety tests but they ought to simulate actual accidents too.
