This is the first time I actually see proper health tips, and not "diet culture tips" disguised as health tips. The first 2 are the best ones. When I fisrt started working out , I got so obsessed I ended up having an eating disorder, that forced me to stop working out and lead me to have a really bad relationship with myself, and food and working out. It took years for me to overcome it, an now I can finally have a healthy and fun relationship with excersize and food!. So, great tips and thank you for being one of the few health youtubers that actuallly give healthy and realistic advice.
Oh my goodness you remind me so so much of myself! I used to be in the exact same place and was so obsessed with looking like the “typically fit” person (ie super ripped, obvious abs ect) and went to such extremes only to be met with disappointment 95% of the time. I don’t believe in making excuses and I 100% believe I’m capable of getting to that “ideal” aesthetic. It’s not ‘cause of my metabolism or body type BUT getting to that type of body is simply not healthy for me mentally. Therefore I decided to let go of the aesthetic obsession. And here’s the thing: WHY and when did fitness become all about aesthetics?? It’s about caring for yourself and being strong! I definitely still struggle with body image from time to time but once I stopped focusing on aesthetics and started focusing on how I felt and progressing my actual strength it changed my life to be honest! My fitness journey is at its best rn because of my mindset! One thing that really made me reflect (saying this here ‘cause ik you’re a Christian girl and so am I) is that I felt my obsession become somewhat of an idol. I never got to the point where fitness was replacing God but it took over a HUGE part of my mind and I felt as though I was living for fitness vs living for Christ which was NOT where I wanted/want to be! Just wanted to let you know you’re definitely not alone and that I appreciate having someone who I feel is walking along side me in a way!

Weighing myself everyday was one of the worst things I've ever done. It screwed up my mental health, and was not a good habit I was making. For anyone on a fitness journey, I recommend weighing yourself maybe once a week. It will give you a good idea of the direction your on, without being sad daily because the scale only moved 0.5 lbs. Just some advice from me :) Totally agree with Jeanine.
This video was so timely to watch because I’ve been doing all those things you mentioned. Now I just eat clean, work with my trainer and enjoy the feeling of endorphins when I work out! I’m not stressing over the small stuff anymore. Thanks for this! 😀

just watched your beauty secrets video from over a year ago and I also struggle with keratosis pilaris on my arms and legs. It is probably the thing I am most self concious about and I was wondering if you have found anything that helps reduce the bumps instead of covering them up? I have tried so many lotions and oils and nothing seems to work for me.
Needed this so bad! I just went swimsuit shopping and girlllllll I vowed this next month I am going to be so much healthier in all the ways I can. Yes I still bought a suit because I deserved it and if I have to buy a smaller one later, I won’t be mad about it!
