- I was looking for Guess the songs from Project sekai, AND I FOUND NONE
so i made one myself but instead made it more challenging by making it
to guess which "Original" character is singing :D

for some reason kohane's voice is surprisingly easy to recongize...
20/20 -> This is what happens when you know all the alternate voices available for each song
Tsukasa’s voice can be SO SO SO similar to rui’s at times… he’s the only one I got wrong.. 😭
I know!! But I distinguish them as Rui’s being a bit more softer than Tsukasa’s which is sharper
I feel like his voice was less distinctive in buriki no dance cause it was one of the first songs to be available so maybe hirose daisuke (tsukasa’s va) wasn’t very used to the Tsukasa voice
same with akito i thought that was rui and i even thought tsukasa was rui😭
key word: can, its so similar but in other songs its so easy to tell

I got confused with an and Saki. Nene was hard to guess. I learn that Ruiz’s singing style is much more gentle than other male singers in the game.
An has a pretty distinct accent in singing, thought that was the easiest to tell
god damnit this comment influenced me and made me think that buriko no dance part was Rui's

I got a lot of people, but the moment I heard Kanade’s voice and Cutlery I immediately knew. I love kanade way too much her soft , sad, warm voice just fits so well with cutlery.
As someone who for the life of themselves cannot tell voices apart especially in pjsekai most of these were just random guessing
As someone with this problem who also just started the game and doesn’t know who anyone is besides Rui and that one todoroki looking guy (I’m sorry to any and all of his fans, remembering names is hard), this is literally me xD

I got everyone except for Nene :(( I usually have a hard time telling her apart from Emu in wxs songs
I've listened to Mafuyu's Bitter choco solo on loop for days and the second the song played I jumped and screamed "MAFUYU MY BELOVED" same with Mizuki, I love 25ji so much its not even funny anymore

20/20! Such a talented voice cast with very unique voices :) They did a good job with hiring all the voice actors, they’re doing their job very nicely
The only way i can tell the difference between wandasho charas was that tsukasa and emu sing in a more energetic way than nene and rui where they are more soft or dramatic on their covers if that makes any sense. Rui’s voice is very,, it like makes him very known that his presence is there. Nene’s voice is very sweet even though she has a similar sound to Emu.
I've known that I tend to get Kanade and Mafuyu's vocals mixed up sometimes, but now after playing a few of these I've learned I also often mix up Shiho and Ichika, maybe that's from me not really listening to Leo/Need that often
With Kanade and Mafuyu their voices just sound similar to me in some songs

idk their tone is very different like kanade is more breathy and soft while mafuyu is soft but it sounds like she sings more with her chest

nah they sound completely different like idk how to explain it or what the verbiage is but emu kinda has like a “baby voice” when she sings while nene just sings in a high range and she doesn’t have that super distinct voice (still distinct to me) like emu has

and how i describe their voices is emu’s is more sharp, and has the same type of initial shock as just downing and entire pixie stick
nene’s character description is right, her voice sounds like honey as well as tasting like it, and her voice is more soft and round, compared to emu’s

@@silly_little_scrunkly no, you don’t sound insane! i think people with synesthesia’s perspectives are super interesting. and i agree, emu’s voice is kinda like the sound version of a sugar rush; very high energy, while nene’s voice is more round and soft. idk how to like translate this from speaking to text and idk if it’s gonna come across the way i want, but emu has more of a “dA dA dA” sound like more emphasis on certain syllables while nene is more “aaah” and doesn’t enunciate certain syllables over others when she sings
Kanade always had an extremely smooth and soft voice in most of her songs so it’s pretty easy to recognise
@@whooshylushy743 she also has this sort of breathiness that makes her sound like she's almost whispering sometimes
The only one I got wrong was Akito, because I often confused him with Toya whenever he sings lower notes
19/20- for cinema i knew there was only a akito cover but doubted myself bc he sounded so much like touya :’)

For those who have trouble telling Nene and Emu apart, Emu’s voice sound somewhat childish, while Nene don’t. For Rui and Tsukasa, If you listen to two covers of a song, Tsukasa’s voice is a little deeper (at least it is to me-)
I might be the only one who thinks this way, but Emu's singing voice feels more human, while Nene has a similar tone to some of the Vocaloids
@@BirdThatGasps I get where you’re coming from. I think it’s because emu shows way more emotion than Nene, who doesn’t have as much energy or emotion.

I got most of them! they all have such unique voices so its pretty easy just to guess too if you know the characters enough

I almost got all of the songs but my brain decided to fail when it's Toya's turn so i forgot the name of the song :,)

I mixed Tsukasa and Rui in Burikino, missed mostly Leo/need members and the covers 😂. I think I did fine with the commissioned songs.
Granted we hardly hear l/n members sing other than Ichika so...

I’ve figured with Tsukasas version of Buriki no dance, you can hear the instruments in the background much more than Rui’s

im a new sekai player so i barely guessed any right except my favorites LOL
it helps a lot when you know all the songs and which group the song belongs to lol (essentially whittling possibilities down from 20 to 4)
I got mistaken with Honami's and Ichika's voice since I can't regconize Honami's voice😭 I don't usually hear her singing much. For somehow, I mistaken Rui's voice with Touya's. The others are quite obvious since every character has such unique and noticable voice

I only guessed Ena, and Mafuyu correctly. I don’t even know Project Sekai LOL (I’ve only listened to their cover of Hurting for a very hurtful pain, and Mafuyu’s cover of Usseewa a few times.) Also… Mafuyu’s voice is beautiful

MMJ fan here, got them right 👋🏻 Mayushii (Haruka's VA) and Honnizumi Rina (Shizuku's VA) are easily recognizable for me, their voices are unique IMO 🤣
Niigo, only Kanade misses... I almost failed to recognize Ena's voice (meanwhile i called myself as Ena fan)

L/N, 4/4 but having a hard time to tell the difference between Saki and Honami voices
Im an Ena fan as well but damn her voice is the most generic amongst the other.
Note to self: her voice is the most vibrant amongst all niigo, and less technique used (compared to mizuki's and kanade's, but not mafuyu's)
Actually you can recognize honami by her soft voice

i got 19/20 and im mad at myself because the one i couldnt get was haruka... aka one of my favorite characters in the game. i think it was the fact that i had no clue what the song was and it didnt have the usual defining qualities of her voice as clearly as usual that threw me off? but still, cant believe i got everyone except one of my favorites
I thought she was Mizuki
The only ones I didn't guess correctly was Leo/need members. I really need to listen to them more...
you really do they’re lowkey underrated especially shiho (and saki) she has some of the best vocals jn the game and i wish she was used more in the songs
I only ever buy WxS alternative voices, but surprisingly I did a lot better than I expected 🤣🤣
Only missing Ena and Honami. Almost missed Haruka, I know it's her, but I forgot her name for a sec 🤣🤣
Failed shizuku, had a mix between Toya and Akito, Failed Honami, Failed Kochane, pretty good score in my opinion

I think it's also nice with some of these songs, you picked the one that is distinctly for that character! (though it's more for other characters than some, won't be putting what songs they are to avoid spoilers)

I got everyone correct except for Shizuku and Akito, nice game! You should make part 2
I failed to properly identify Kanade, Shizuku, and Akito. Thought Kanade was Mafuyu, thought Shizuku was Haruka, thought Akito was Toya.
Though, when _their_ songs came around, I knew who they were immediately.
Also, about a third of the time I also recognized the song they were soloing because I use their solos on those songs to begin with.

for anyone who needs it, here's a quick guide to every voice's characteristics:
ichika: smooth, low, relatively strong
saki: energetic, high
honami: somewhat low, more gentle and soft
shiho: rough, low, strong
minori: soprano-is-an-understatement high, squeaky, strong
haruka: low, kind of nasal, mature, strong
airi: energetic, high, strong, basically saki's but lower
shizuku: soft, low, mature
kohane: high, strong, lower as of late
an: accented, low, strong, energetic
akito: accented, lazy, hits good high notes, somewhat nasal
toya: more soothing, calmer, good at both high and low notes
tsukasa: louder, more energetic, sounds crazier
emu: childish, minori-level high, also good with low notes
nene: nasal, high, sounds a bit like a vocaloid
rui: calmer, mature, has very good vibrato
kanade: breathy, airy, soft
mafuyu: soft, gentle and high but can quickly switch to strong, energetic and low
ena: high, energetic, sounds more emotional, good at belting
mizuki: low, strong, matureish
Lmao nene does kinda sound like a vocaloid in remote control
Overall, i got 34/40. I mistook Kanade's voice with Mafuyu and I didnt knew Cutlery, Marshmary, Hare wo Matsu, Ghost City Tokyo, and Once Upon a Dream (mostly because I called it Once Upon a Story instead, lol)
Overall I think i did well-
shiho and airi have like the most recognisable voices in the game to me, i got them all though🎉

17/20! i love wxs and i got all of them
I got 7 wrong out of 'em all.
Tsukasa and Rui's voices aside (between whom I can't differentiate to save my life), I'm glad that my identifiers worked XD.
Mafuyu has a somewhat, idk, powdery or something voice, thus, as soon as I hear it, it's easy to know.
Kanade has a somewhat deep and 'dead-inside' voice and it's quite easy to identify her singing from the rest of the female singers as well.
Then we have Mizuki who's voice is the most unique among all the characters and thus it's very easy to identify that.
Now, for the VBS crew,
Toya has a somewhat stiff sounding voice when singing, which, even though doesn't ruin the song, does make it stand out from the crowd.
Akito has a much smoother voice and is able to sing more notes compared to Toya. (Refer to Yobinashi Deceive, Toya almost sounds as if he's talking instead of singing when you listen to the preview of his cover version of the song).
An tries to make her voice sound more sassy and 'punk-ish' and,
Kohane tries to make her voice sound much cuter which adds little changes to the song itself. (Refer to An's and Kohane's versions of Just Be Friends in the cover shop)
For the WxS, I can't really say much, Tsukasa and Rui sound one and the same to me XD
The difference between Emu and Nene's singing stems from the difference between their overall voices and the amount of singing training they received. (Refer to each of their covers on Sweet Magic, Emu's one is almost as if she's tone-deaf while Nene's one sounds beautiful).
For the L/n group, I never learnt to differentiate between them besides Ichika, she's a goddess in singing, plus, her voice is different from the rest of the crew, and also, she's really good at getting low notes. (Refer to her cover of Dramaturgy).
For the MMJ team,
We have Minori who somehow sounds like a child to me when she's singing, thus making it easier to spot her among the crowd.
Can't comment on Shizuku's voice because I can't identify her singing.
Haruka's voice and Airi's voice are different from each other quite distinctively and idk what else to say about them, but yeah, they are easy to differentiate between.
Last but not the least, Ena's voice is somewhat 'normal' or 'average' but the thing is, she's the only one with that voice, thus, she's easier to spot.
And that's all, folks. If you've read this far and are still bothering to read it, then just remember that this is all my personal opinion on how these characters sound like XD (pls don't send nukes to my home)

Hi, I just wanted to give my two cents to this comment and tell you how I differenciate the voices that weren't able to identify.
For me Tsukasa's voice has kind of an "annoying" undertone when he is singing, like when you are talking to a pouting child, while Rui's is much softer.
As for L/n I think that Shiho's voice is much deeper than the girl's voices and is, with its smooth touch quiet similair to Shizuku's voice, the only difference for me being, that Shizuku's voice is higher than hers and considering that they are sister, I think that that's kinda neat. As for Saki and Honami's voices, they are a bit trickier to distiguish but in my opinion Honami's voice a bit higher and softer than Saki's voice.

i dont think emu sings as if shes tone deaf? she hits the notes very well but just isn’t technically trained . shes just unleashing everything at once

Trick for trying to distinguish the singers: Listen to a lot of their alt vocals. You'll be able notice the differences a lot easier.

I got everyone right but when it was Airi's turn I struggled a bit other then that it was pretty easy. Oh also how I tell nenes voice apart from Emus is how energetic the voice is like Nenes voice is more calm and tame but Emus is more bright and full of energy! I hope that helps :)

as a diehard wxs fan I got all of em right
however i barely play any songs from the other bands so I forgor the characters 💀
I'd say you can cheat by just knowing who covers certain songs and choosing from 2/3 ppl but that's honestly worse than just knowing the voices...
also only messed up MMJ, they're my least favourite-
13/20... You have no idea of how much ive mistaken some of the girls with kohane😭and i don't even like or use vbs that much

But it was easier to guess by the end since each character only appeared once
