The trick is just try to know the song in which band it is then focusing to their vocals and remembering the member in that band and try to match some of the vocals you know and that'll help a lot (thank me later bebs)

i would like to apologize to rui kamishiro for somehow mistaking his king cover for tsukasa's. i am so sorry rui you're my second favorite character (second only to mizuki) and i have that cover and i love tge song and tbr cover but my brain isn't operating properly at 9am on the bright side i was able to identify tsukasa (my third favorite) each time it WAS him, as well as the song but i'm so so sorry rui i don't know how that happened and i will never forgive myself.
This is so interesting. I managed to get most of it right not only because I could memorize the voices of the characters, but because I could also figure it out by recognizing the song and who has anabo's A lot of the cast have very unique voices, it gets wayy easier too if you recognize the song and can identify who has an anabo. For me, it was easy to figure it out for Wansho and Momojan because I listen to their songs almost daily and their voices are completely different from each other. Some might have difficulty between similar voices but once you know how they sing it gets way clearer. Ie. Between Minori and Emu, Minori's high notes feel narrower and sometimes softer while Emu's gets projected and is very powerful. It's the same with Rui and Tsukasa, Rui is a lot more smooth sounding while Tsukasa is again, louder and powerful even with quieter lines With someone like Kohane as well! Akina sings both in this high pitched mousey voice but also this powerful chest voice a LOT, allowing us to tell who Kohane is almost immediately The VA's do such a good job with the characters. Which makes me sad when I can barely recognize Honami because I can't hear her through Ichika's vocals usually! However in songs like Regulus and Stage of SEKAI, she really gets to shine and I could recognize her immediately Akito and Toya I could struggle with. When singing Akito's line in Hollow, he sounds almost exactly like him lmao??? Akito too. Which is very interesting considering how different their voices are especially while talking. It's just a matter of what they're singing I think, for me, I can recognize Kanade and Haruka immediately. Kanade's very soft and almost out of breath singing is a tell-tale sign it's her. I can't exactly describe Haruka's, but it's definetly the most different for me out of all the cast I love proseka sm and their VAs are AWESOME! They inspire me so much thank you VAs ilya Heres my mistakes bc I was too lazy to count points Mistake 1 - Akito Yobanashi - I thought this was Touya... Mistake 2 - Honami From Tokyo - I couldnt recognize and didn't think this was a leoni song for some reason??? From tokyo is literally one of my faves LMAO Mistake 3 - Ena Aishite³ - I couldn't tell between EnaMafu?? I felt like it was too soft for Ena but too harsh for Mafu Mistake 4 - Ichika Calc. - I didn't listen to Calc enough to recognize it or the sekai vocals huhu... Mistake 5 - Ena Irony - Same with Ichika Calc.! I thought this was Shiho LMAO Mistake 6 - Honami Glow - SAME WITH THE LAST TWO?? BUT WORSE??? I could not recognize her at ALL i feel so bad...
78.5/90. Got every singer except for Saki (Lost and Found, did not guess the song) and Kanade (MKDR/DSCF, love that song), and 41 songs. Had to stop midway though to get the Kanade Tricologe cover and play it lol. I'm an old Vocaloid fan so some of these songs I remember from when they first released, plus some of the albums they're on.

I stopped counting at a certain point because of the fact that I really don’t know their voices and just kept going off of vague hypothesis and guesses like “oh God this person has a strong voice. It’s either An, Mizuki or Shiho” but the only people that really stayed consistent once I thought about it was “OK, People who have the weird soft echo voice that it’s either Kanade or Mafuyu.” Didn’t help at all, but at least with Emu’s voice I got all of those correct because her singing voice has that weird bubbly childish sound to it that it’s familiar enough for me to recognize it on its own.

i would like to apologize to rui kamishiro for somehow mistaking his king cover for tsukasa's. i am so sorry rui you're my second favorite character (second only to mizuki) and i have that cover and i love tge song and tbr cover but my brain isn't operating properly at 9am
on the bright side i was able to identify tsukasa (my third favorite) each time it WAS him, as well as the song

This is so interesting. I managed to get most of it right not only because I could memorize the voices of the characters, but because I could also figure it out by recognizing the song and who has anabo's
A lot of the cast have very unique voices, it gets wayy easier too if you recognize the song and can identify who has an anabo. For me, it was easy to figure it out for Wansho and Momojan because I listen to their songs almost daily and their voices are completely different from each other. Some might have difficulty between similar voices but once you know how they sing it gets way clearer. Ie. Between Minori and Emu, Minori's high notes feel narrower and sometimes softer while Emu's gets projected and is very powerful. It's the same with Rui and Tsukasa, Rui is a lot more smooth sounding while Tsukasa is again, louder and powerful even with quieter lines
With someone like Kohane as well! Akina sings both in this high pitched mousey voice but also this powerful chest voice a LOT, allowing us to tell who Kohane is almost immediately
The VA's do such a good job with the characters. Which makes me sad when I can barely recognize Honami because I can't hear her through Ichika's vocals usually! However in songs like Regulus and Stage of SEKAI, she really gets to shine and I could recognize her immediately
Akito and Toya I could struggle with. When singing Akito's line in Hollow, he sounds almost exactly like him lmao??? Akito too. Which is very interesting considering how different their voices are especially while talking. It's just a matter of what they're singing
I think, for me, I can recognize Kanade and Haruka immediately. Kanade's very soft and almost out of breath singing is a tell-tale sign it's her. I can't exactly describe Haruka's, but it's definetly the most different for me out of all the cast

78.5/90. Got every singer except for Saki (Lost and Found, did not guess the song) and Kanade (MKDR/DSCF, love that song), and 41 songs. Had to stop midway though to get the Kanade Tricologe cover and play it lol. I'm an old Vocaloid fan so some of these songs I remember from when they first released, plus some of the albums they're on.

I stopped counting at a certain point because of the fact that I really don’t know their voices and just kept going off of vague hypothesis and guesses like “oh God this person has a strong voice. It’s either An, Mizuki or Shiho” but the only people that really stayed consistent once I thought about it was “OK, People who have the weird soft echo voice that it’s either Kanade or Mafuyu.” Didn’t help at all, but at least with Emu’s voice I got all of those correct because her singing voice has that weird bubbly childish sound to it that it’s familiar enough for me to recognize it on its own.
