Thanks again for taking us with you on your wee walk! Eaten alive by that wee beastie😅!! I was going to say the same as the folk previously, the map plotting your route is brilliant, gives a sense of scale. Smashing stuff, well done
Jenny long legs attacked me at that big rock! Hundreds of them! 🕷🕷🕷🐝🐝🐝🐝. Thanks...I think the maps are good too! I enjoy that part on the computer! When you next home?
Hi Paul, just watched this with a view to doing this Friday….absolutely cracking wee video and I’ll definitely be watching a lot more, take care, Steven 😊👍🏴🏴
Thank you very much Steven! I think it’s a rougher but good alternative to the normal route? The hills were busy that weekend and we were looking for a quiet walk! Thanks again mate and thanks for the support! Paul 👍👍👍👍
Oot again 😉 Nice one Paul, enjoyed that. Different route indeed like. Saves the nightmare parking by the A82. You get a nice view of Achaladair & pal. Cheers 👍
Oot again! Cannae keep me in! I always get the fear at seeing cars parked on that slice of grass next to the road there....this is much better and keeps your feet dry too! Cheers and superbos! Paul
Good afternoon Paul, another stunning espace into the hills, away from the crowds too, what a treat! Lovely looking walk with some smashing veiws, really enjoyable video, great footage and passionately presented as always, great share! Thanks for the much needed dose of the outdoors Paul, have a great week, Ceri and Kat ❤👍☕ p.s love the additions of the maps and routes walked
Hi Paul. Must have missed this video. Have to admit that before I watched it I had to check where it was😄! Still one more successfully ticked off. Wee surprise. Today, the 8th, decided I really needed to find out how far my gammy leg could take me, walking through the discomfort, so me and pal Andy, bagged a couple of Munros at Drumochter. Càrn na Caim and A' Bhuidheanach Bheag. Deliberately chosen for the high start and not the sexiest of hills😂, but a real step up for me. Chuffed to be back on the Munros. Will need to see how I am tomorrow 🙂,😍
Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! I knew you would roll up your sleeves and get back out there! Don't worry about tomorrow, that will take care of itself ! Chuffed for you big chap! Probably heading up there next weekend to do the same two hills with Abi. She loves the high starts and the rolling hills as there is nothing to fall off. Brilliant mate. Get yourself a wee target set and see how you go. How long did these hills take you?...Paul
@@PAADVENTURES1 WH says 5/6. We took 6.75hrs with two food and drink stops. Kudos to my younger mate Andy who put up with me (especially the first 1.5 hr) when I was like an asthmatic snail, stopping about every 10metres. WH time more likely for you.
Scotland seems to be getting a wee bit greener every week, at least in the lower bits. If you managed all 5 peaks in one trip, would you still call it a wee walk? Serious question! Looks like you got as nice a day as you could ask for this one, and those views were just one solid view after another. If we lived anywhere near places like this, we'd be out there all the time. Can't believe there aren't people all over the place. Another great wee walk Paul, thanks for taking us!
That would be a big wee walk! 😏 hoping to do a 4 munros walk this weekend which will be a toughie....The weather has been lovely all weekend here and we tried to make the most of it. We only saw one other Walker the entire 7 hours! To be honest we picked a more remote route so that we would avoid the busy spots. It's not hard though to get some solitude though. Have a look at a wee walk I did last month called AGlencoe sunset...Now that's solitude. Cheers guys! Looking forward to your next adventure. Paul
@@PAADVENTURES1 A personal invitation on a classic wee walk? No need to even twist an arm. We'll be checking it out this evening once everyone's home and we can put it on the TV. Can't wait!
Thank you! This was a great wee walk away from the busier route with some great weather and brilliant views! Cheers and thanks for watching. All the best.....Paul
@@PAADVENTURES1 hello my friend... I'm seriously jealous of all the scenery and mountains you have close to you... Breathtaking... Yes I have the active cap in wine and fog grey that's what paramo can the colourway.. Been using it a lot this week... Take care and enjoy....
Great route, love it! I saw you again in shorts walking...aren't you afraid of picking up the ticks or do you use "Anti-Tick" stuff, if yes what? ATB Stripey
Cheers Stripey. I know.....I shouldn't really wear shorts but I cant help myself. No i don't use anything and never have. Maybe I have just been lucky or the ticks don't like the taste of me! Have been bitten a few times but its been ok. Need to wear trousers!,😣😣. Paul
@@PAADVENTURES1 yeah would be probably better, but who knows it in the end. Anyway, looking forward to your next adventure - would be funny if we would meet one day 🤞☺️
great video Paul! This is my last one to do in those 5 - how much distance is covered in this route compared to the traditonal one on walk highlands ? cheers!
Morning Andrew, the route we took was 19k which is 4k shorter than the walkhighlands route. We did do an extra 200m of ascent though at around 1100m compared to 920m on the normal route! Not much in it really?. Cheers Paul
Im still catching up 😁, great hike this one Paul and a perfect day. Thanks for sharing your adventure.....Alioban ❤🐕
Glad you enjoyed it Ali! that's a while ago that one!!! Might have a wee short video up this week so mind and keep an eye out!! Paulo.
Right on our Doorstep........ CLAN McCALLUM Romed these hills. ♏♉♏♉♏♉
Tell the chief of the clan Happy Birthday!!!
Your certainly racking up the Munro miles Paul 😉 Excellent stuff and liking the maps 👍👍
Cheers! a week off from work and managed 8 new Munros. Back to normality now though.....Cheers for the support and thanks for watching. Paul.
Spectacular views Paul, as always so enjoyable to watch and for you to take us along, smashing. 😊

Cheers Andy. Enjoyed this wee walk and it was very quiet too. Slow but surely. Cheers Paul

Thanks Anthony, me too, then I complain it's too hot! 😁. Thanks mate. Paul
