I was up there last Wednesday on a beautiful day. Always has been one of my favourite places and I can say as great as the film is, it still is best seen in person to really appreciate just how stunning it is.
Hi Paul, Alison my partner and I did that walk yesterday in bright sunshine. Great video, really enjoyed it well done for the clever editing. All the best.
Hi Gordon! A wee tad jealous! What a beautiful place and to get the views and sunshine must have been spectacular! We didn’t see very much at the tops but the walk through the forest to the corrie and similarly on the way back was beautiful! I bet you were absolutely spoiled for view’s! Cheers for watching and thanks for the kind comments! All the best Paul
Thanks! Glen doll is definitely worth a visit! If not to do the munros then just to visit Corrie Fee. I cant recommend it highly enough. Thanks for watching. Cheers Paul
Thanks Dave. A great wee walk, just a pity we never got many views until we got back down! Going to head back soon and take a wander along Jocks road and hopefully bag another few hills too! Cheers mate. Paul
Thank you very much! I think that the waterfall was one of the best bits of the walk! I would go back just to go to the waterfall. Thanks again for watching and thanks for the Sub!! cheers. Paul.
@@PAADVENTURES1 I wonder what's something over there because the staff told me there is a helicopter, so I asked a walker that is there a helicopter, she said on and showed me a professional map compared to mine from a brochure haha. I think helicopter just for a sign or something or maybe I heard wrong. This video answers me that the scenery over there is very beautiful, I wish to see that with my eyes. By the way, it was a great memory for me and my friends, and the people were really friendly. Thank you for making a wonderful video. Take care Paul.
Brilliant as always Paul. The waterfall was stunning. Always enjoy seeing the delights of Scotland through your eyes. I’d love to wild camp there once I’m more experienced 👍
Great video Paul! 🙌 Waterfalls look amazing. I will look forward to doing this walk with my dogs. Did the csirnwell trio last weekend and whiteout conditions for all 3 summits lol 😂
It’s amazing Corinna! Corrie fee is a cracking place! I was unlucky with the views so fingers crossed you get a better day 👍👍 wow! Whiteout! You need to get some videos in the go that would have been good to see! I was up at Glenshee yesterday and the weather was glorious 👍👍
Brilliant film again Paul and yes i would say that Corrie Fee is the best :) It's beautiful up that area the Angus Glens are great i dont know if you have bagged Tolmount & Tom Buidhe yet if not you can bag them via the Jocks Road from the same car park it is another great day out from that place 👍 Thanks for posting this vid it brings back great memories of the place cheers Paul, peter.
Thanks Peter! Its even better when it's your first time seeing it! I watched your mayar and driesh film before I went 😁. I have not done T and T yet.. you have a video of that too eh? Is the route pretty straightforward? Paul
@@PAADVENTURES1 for sure! I like my scrambles quite a lot but honestly, hiking in such a beautiful scenery is definitely also something for me! Just so many amazing places here in Scotland - wish the days would be 72h long - more time for hiking in relation to work 😂👍
Thanks Alan! I really enjoyed this wee walk even though we missed out on the views. The glen is fantastic and worth a visit just for that. It's really paddy's channel, I just drive him around 😂🐕. Cheers and all the best. Paul
Loved this one Pa, Paddy is a star for sure, doing his wee grass slide. If that was my Lollie there would be something very stinky below her. Amazing hike, and looks like an easy path. Was it a circuit, or did you retrack your assent path? Love how these older walks are popping up on my feed......Alioban ❤🐕
Thanks Ali! that's a blast from the past that one! this is a circuit awl, other than coming off the second munro and its an amazing one! whilst we didn't see too much the coire on the way in and the glen on the way out are beautiful. This is high on my revisit list! on better days of course! its not too difficult either! Paulo.
Class Paul mate, what a beautiful part of the world you have to hike in. I'll definitely have to hike and wildcamp up there sometime, all the best Chris 👍
Hi, Paul. You certainly crammed some walks into your time off. Well done 👍! These two hills cost me a fortune as when I phoned Matthew to see if he wanted to do them the following day, he said we may as well stay in the area and do Mount Keen the next day. £70 for a b&b in Brechin and £30 for dinner😄!! Sent you a wee email about my day today,😄!!
Brilliant! That's what you are there for! Chief chauffeur and bank manager! 😁. Its a long old trek and probably worth the overnighter. I am planning on heading back up and doing tolmount and Tom bhuide from there along jocks road. It's a beautiful place eh. I was loving the walk through the forest and when you come out into corrie fee!!@ breathtaking. Have you done tolmount and Tom bhuidhe? Paul
@@PAADVENTURES1 Yes we did last year also by way of Jock's road. The summits aren't that spectacular but the walk out was nice. Look out for Davy's Bourach, a shelter on the path, near which there was 5 tragic deaths on New Years Day 1959. On Mayar and Driesh, I remember coming out of the woods and seeing Corrie Fee for the first. Was awestruck. Absolutely magnificent 😍!!!
@@PAADVENTURES1 Had to check, but yes I did. Had to laugh as it began with me moaning about last year's sciatica attack (although tbh it has never fully went away, so this year's attack is just last year's mark 2)😂😂😂!!
Hi Paul, Nice one, the Angus Glens just have a different feel to them. Pity you didn't take the blue sky with you this time but perhaps you'll get a chance next time your up Jock's Road. Cheers, Charlie.
Yeah Charlie my luck has ran out....speaking to peter he has recommended doing Tolmount and Tom bhuidhe from here so need to head back up soon. Any excuse. Paul
What's this??? You have TREES in Scotland?! Literally the first time we've seen you in a video with more than 3 trees. Parts of that place almost look like they could be around here! Later in the video, we couldn't help but notice that those groves are very... square. I wonder, if not for people, would those trees be all over your mountains? That cascade coming off the mountain is incredible Paul. Oh, how we would love to explore that place first hand! If we ever manage to get to Scotland, I hope we can tap you and Patrick for a guided tour of one of these places. Another lovely wee walk!
Yeah!,, you know I was actually thinking about you guys when I was walking up through the trees and thinking it looked similar to some of your adventures! Some of these are commercial plantations and they don't look natural, but the fact that they are there is nice. Down in the lower glen it's much less uniform and feels so nice to walk amongst the trees. I do envy your woodland areas! The waterfall is lovely eh...Paddy said that you are more than welcome and he will take you out wherever you want to go....if only for a treat and a clap! Cheers from this wee corner of the World. All the best.....Paul
Fantastic video. I’ve been looking at these for a while now but put off a bit by WH descriptions. Makes it look more attainable when you see it on video. I have an older Golden Retriever and we’ve done a few “Easier” Munros now and the fife Coastal Path. So it’s a clear path the whole way? Thanks so much and sorry about the cloud x paddy is a wee joy
Thank you so much Morag! I must admit that sometimes the descriptions of walks in my opinion over egg the pudding a bit but always best to be cautious. These are a great walk and not too difficult at all. There is a good path most of the way but if I remember it does come and go near the summits as they are big and round and stony. Navigating in good conditions is nice and easy. Other than the climb up the waterfall it’s all very simple and the waterfall is ok too. The corrie is spectacular and the views back down from the top are amazing! Paddy loves these walks and he sleeps for half the day afterwards! Hope you enjoy when you go! Thanks again! Paul
@@moragbrown7765 hi Morag. It would be foolhardy of me to advise 🥴 as you know even the easiest of Munros require a certain effort. It’s definitely one of the easier routes but I couldn’t judge for you unfortunately. The walk up to corrie fee in itself is beautiful and worth the drive even for that! Let me know how you go! Cheers Paul
