Definitely. SM trains their artists well. Some things they do I don't agree with but apparently for punishment/help someone improve their vocal ability, SM makes them sing while running on a treadmill or I've heard worse, someone lightly punches you in the stomach while you're singing to help with developing a stable and strong diaphragm. I've heard these claims from ex SM trainees here on YT...so don't crucify me, please.

I prefer this stage performance over the music video. To me the music video seemd very impersonal. It felt more like a dance performance rather than an introduction of this talented K-pop star. I didn't feel like I got a clear idea of who Lay was but in this stage performance he came across very sexy and fun loving. Best of luck and success to Lay on this English solo project. He certainly deserves it and his sweet smile is EVERYTHING!!! 🤗🤗🤗
