Photek remixed by the Source Direct lads, I mean... be honest now... can it really get much better than this? Maybe if Photek remixed Secret Liason? Anyway, do we really want to know about the future?

After many years of listening to many genres of music; I believe I end up back listening to Source Direct’s music more than any other artist in the world & I’d class myself as being ‘reasonably knowledgeable’ in music from 1960’s til the present day. Yes, I know it’s Rupert on the original, but funnily enough; I’m probably one of the very few who puts Phil over Rupert in terms of actual music (not production of course.) Rupert is probably the most talented producer in the genre (Yes, I know! Karl is also in my head telling me to wash my mouth out!) 😂 (& again, from a production perspective only, Dan Stein does deserve credit, despite him really serving up utter dross for many years, it’s fu*king hard to make a number 1 record, & to make a No.1 at 172BPM probably made it even harder?!) (Or easier?) Darren & Krust were the two most ‘creative’ & boundary pushing producers who also deserve credit.🤔 Anyway, it’s the enjoyment part that matters most to me, & so I’m 100% certain, that in my opinion; Phil is the one who’s music I enjoy the most.
Less kick, more shuffle & almost a little ‘stutter’ to the way the shuffles are lined up. You could probably get that pattern done in a few mins with technology now. Imagine how much those lot suffered & the sheer patience they had. 😂 Thank God they did have it though.
Rupert the best ever ,that’s why his music is rare and the prices reflect that , absolutely incredible
I’ve held for the last 25 years that perfection was reached with this tune
All tunes should be judged by the ones stolen from your crate at house parties. This is the one.
Listening to this whilst studying... This song feels like what I imagine the process of your neuronal connections performing synapse would sound.
one of those things i just keep coming back to over and over again....
and it paid off! (Dub Plate Mix)

osbert wasn’t sounds of life a collab between James and Phil’s sister or something?
Lil Kanye West no, it was the first guise of Jim and Phil, Jim or Phil’s sister is who got them in touch with Photek.
Oh my gosh... If Rupert put hands on 'Secret Liaison' I think I'd faint like a schoolgirl lololol
Wait a minute, so is Code of Practice an alias of Photek?
