How to anchor a beach umbrella - EASY!!!

Pre-drilling a hole for your beach umbrella makes it easier to put in!
PROBLEM: Sometimes the beach sand can be hard packed or wet making it hard to anchor your umbrella.
ISSUE/FIX: Pre-drilling a hole with an auger bit lets you put your umbrella in deeper and easier.

Actually we used this at the bay beach where it is harder to put the umbrella in the sand because of the water/tide making the sand harder. Fortunately the parking lot is 10 steps away so bringing the drill is not a big deal!
