I think I mentioned several places in the blog, that I did not build the superstructure of this boat. I purchased from a guy who built the cabin on the Jon Boat hull for short duck hunting trips on the Mississippi River. It was not equipped, or rigged for longer trips and I normally go two to three weeks at a time. I did extensive modifications to make that possible. Some of which I explained in the blog, the videos, and in replies to questions. I intend to do a series on what the basic boat was at purchase and a further description of major modifications. But right now I'm preparing for my first spring trip. It is coming, but will have to wait until I have the time.
Thank you. I’m intrigued with the design, specifically the drop in the keel over that of a pontoon type. Almost as if it’s a boat camper compared to a truck camper. Look forward to the details
Thanks for your comment. If I can get caught up on my spring prep for the first trip in May, I may get started with the series concentrating on the boat build and mods. I have a rough outline and the first topic will likely be the basic boat build at the time of purchase. After that I will follow up with various modifications made to enable to boat and tow rig to make long trips. Standby!
Great boat and beautiful scenery. Looking forward to your next adventure.
Thanks Larry, I hope to have many more!
Reviewed your videos but no mention about the build. Did you build or vendor fabricate?
