Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree produced this and several other Opeth records. in this song he sings the chorus in clean vocals. I highly recommend some of his work with Porcupine Tree including his solo work.

Another would be Hessian Peel, Coil/Heir Apparent, Reverie/Harlequin Forest, The Baying Of The Hounds, and of course Blackwater Park.
Nice choices. I would add Ghost of Perdition, Deliverance, the grand conjuration, and Black Rose Immortal. But that's my personal opinion

As other fans say, everyone has a different "best Opeth song" opinion, and let me say, they're all damn right.
They have SO many awesome songs...
You could try Ghost of Perdition, Reverie/Harlequin Forest, Coil/Heir Apparent, Burden, Faith in Others next for example... or pretty much any other Opeth Song :D

Their best album is Heritage, ironically without any death metal elements. But it's very "proggy", which isn't everyone's cup of tea. Also the reason why they shed most of their fan base at that point.
That's not their best album lmao. Its considered their worst by most people
