You would have had a lot more room to do the temp sensor if you just removed the plastic air dam. It's just the two T25 torx screws at the front of it.
There are variety of things that can cause this code. If your battery is good and you have no aftermarket electronics connected to the car then it shouldn’t be an issue despite seeing the code. I get that code too even when everything is disconnected. Maybe it comes up whenever I plug in my MHD OBD adapter while the ignition is off (haven’t tested). This code basically means that there is something draining your battery when it shouldn’t be. If you Google it and open bimmerpost discussions you’ll find out more.
@@marcelk_98 sorry if I have a backup cam has connected to a reverse light and the other wire is connected to the battery can that cause 2ded how would I connect the relay it once had one
@@isrealperez9069 you can get a multimeter and check the battery drainage with the camera and without the camera connected. I think it should be ideally like 0.05 amps when the car is off. Might depend on the battery type and health I believe
is the 2ded error code for battery or generator? what do you have to change? My generator delivers 15.3 volts when idling and when the ignition is turned on there is a yellow symbol from the battery.. can you help me with that? thank you friend
@@The_TURK. for me it looked like it was from battery. If there is a yellow symbol form the battery I would check the battery voltage first. On ideal the alternator generates the charge for the car. Battery powers components when engine isn’t spinning
Thanks for Watching!!!
If it’s not that sensor, check ur 02 sensors

I agree. Didn’t need it at the time, but the way plug release is positioned now I will in the future
What is 2ded and what caused it to come on how to fix it
