You all have really changed the course of my career. Out of all the motivational, ra-ra types of entrepreneurs, I truly appreciate your strategic advice that you've given. Thank you!
Thank you John
@@thefutur No, thank you! Hopefully I can become successful enough to one day thank you in person 😁
You are right. We get so used to what we do every day that we feel everyone knows it.
02:47 happened to me today! I worked with my students to provide some middle-of-the-road and down to Earth guidance… They really liked it!
This is what I needed, thanks Chris, and the Guest! 💯💯
The last bit I like to call "expert blindness" and I like to remind my clients to watch out for it, ie don't assume your potential clients know what you do and how you do it because it's obvious to you (the expert).
Yes! This is part of what I'm trying to do with my work- break it down like someone has never been exposed to any of this, and definitely doesn't know the jargon and such. It's SO easy to forget this when you've been immersed in it for so long.
The DK effect in action 🙌
I did it in the past, trying to make it better by trying to edit more. It changes what I wanted. . Now I plan create no edits on the final draft .thanks for sharing this
Narrowing down to 2-3 points is something I should keep in mind from now on!! I’m definitely guilty of cramming too much information. Thanks Chris and Kyle!!
This is great advice for a course too. You wanna give so much, overboard can be a thing. Chris always makes me think. Great topic. Thank you!!
It’s true
Just like that - that's enough That's what my audience most probably said many times - I should have learned this long ago, and I still find myself cramming too much in a presentation. This is a great inspiration, thanks
Thank you
Thanks bro - i needed that lession again!
I overwhelmed my classroom last week - atleast they have enough courage to tell me so i can adjust my script.
Sage advice, thank you Chris and Kyle
Our pleasure!
Wow! I needed to see this message. I've had loads of content sitting in the files of my MacBook and I thought that it wasn't valuable enough to share. Maybe I'll spend the rest of this week doing an audit and scheduling some posts for next week.
Good and useful information here, thank you guys 🙋♀️
I love how well the editing of this video matches the information presented. Great job team!
Thank you so much!
I will try this on the next presentation I do.
👊🏽👊🏽
I soooooop relate to this. Guilty. Guilty. Guilty 🙁. I also suspect this information overload is even more predominant now because people aren’t used to focusing on just one topic for any length of time. The internet has created a bouncy sound-bite culture of learning. In my youth, there was no net, so if I wanted to explore a subject, I had to read books, big books! … Thank you, guys! You’ve inspired me🙏🏻! I’ll shut up now.
haha. we all are (I think)
Thank you!!❤️❤️
2 million soon
Almost there.
Thank you
Why is this channel not growing at the same rate as last year?
shorts helped us to grow, but that doesn't seem to be working for us anymore.
i have been through a 256 hours of public speaking and training and i hardly remember any of it the speaker's would charge per minute and each one would speak for Atleast an hour it was in 2018 and the trainers would charge 1000 Rs per minute
Just last month I started trying to do my presentations and sales calls at about 60% , and it removes so much stress . And I think people feel more comfortable with me.
So , if my top speed is 200 kph , now I go at 120kph , and working is almost relaxing.
Awesome!!
I am now a team lead coz the previous person will be busy this month. I have never led a team before and Im in charge of social media team. Evrything is new to me and Im so lacking. Im feeling the pressure to be better and come up with something new, all the time. Im very introvert and im not able to be active in group chat. Im told i shud be more active, i feel blank. i dont have presence of mind sometimes
any advice?

This presentation was about twice as long as it needed to be.
haha. okay. we'll cut it in half.
I think it was great!
@@thefutur
I was half joking.
But only half.
I love long-form I'll listen to a good presentation for 2 hours and be satisfied.
But right about 2 minutes in, I thought, "wait, there's more? what else is there to say?" Not to knock on the other guy, but there really wasn't much left for him to add after the first half that didn't feel kind of redundant. I felt compelled to listen to the rest, but think I mught rather have been left to think about it myself after the key information was delivered.
With some ruthless editing you might be able to make this into a 1min short.
Regardless, great info 👌🏼 👍🏻
Dear Kyle Webster, please string your guitar, even if it's just a background prop. 😉
I'm not sure why you think it has no strings! It's strung and I play it every day. Not a prop. : )

Yes you are 😂😂😂
