Hi from France and thanks a lot for vocabulary, I enjoy for Olympic Games
Isabelle, very cool. Enjoy. I hope it is a success for France.
Hi, Brent! Thanks for this fantastic lesson! I'm really impressed with the number of words and phrases you covered related to the Olympics. It's so helpful to learn the vocabulary used in sports commentary and news reports. I'm definitely going to watch this video again and practice using these new expressions!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks so much, Ulia.
thank you teacher !
Thank you so much, Brent! The 2014 Winter Olympics took place in my city. "Hot. Cool. Yours." It blew me away 🌏🌎🌍🤝
there is a subtle difference between Winter and Summer Olympics Games.
@@manuelgordillo520 I remember it was warm during those Winter Olympics (around +23 °С). You could watch the competition and then bask in the sun and take a dip in the sea (which some people did). So sometimes the difference is quite subtle
@@Denis_Shakhmatov yes. 1500000 people around the world as goers. Summer.... 1.500.000.000 to say the least. you see, there is a stratospherical subtle difference. Hoolingangs only for football.
Sochi! Very cool, Denis.
I love your choice of topics brent ❤🥇🏆 thank you for help and i hope my team ( Morocco🇲🇦 ) do well in this version of the olympic games 🤗
I will be on the lookout for Morocco.

Sorry, I don't know anything about cricket.
Hi Brent, if you enjoy Basketball you'll recognize the guy that carries the german flag in the opening ceremony: Dennis Schröder , he plays in the NBA 🏀.
Very cool, Michael!
Thanks Brent, It's going to be a huge party during the Paris Olympics games. The opening ceremony will take place on the river "La Seine". The athletes will parade on boats dedicated to each country.
The ceremony is placed under great secrecy to know who will sing or dance, nevertheless at this moment we know that several artists have arrived in Paris like Lady Gaga, Céline Dion, Snoop Dog, we do not think that they come to Paris only to "perform" shopping this weekend.😁🥇
Celine Dion, it would be such a surprise she's between cottons because her health.
My favourit olympic sport is the marathon because it's a long sustainable effort you need a long effort and long willing to get the finish line
A wink from France
I will definitely watch the marathon. Such an enduring event.
Brent, yes, the American swimmers are the most successful to date, Mickael Phelps, without forgetting Mark Spitz. Though there will be an Olympic competition against the French guys like Léon Marchand, Florent Manaudou and many others who will be very physically sharp.
May the best win.
😁👍🏊♂️
Absolutely, may the best win, Freddy.
The Olympic events start already today, July 24th at 4:30 p.m. (GMT) with Rugby USA against France.🏉🥇

Athletics, swimming, football, basketball, hockey and the other hundreds of sports 😂😂
😀
Currently I’m watching a Olympics soccer match French vs. USA 😀
