Gideon is so much more traumatized than what this event and episode wants to make us believe! it had took years for him to accept acting like Black Fairy's slave-son and the people in the mine were afraid of him and only Roderick was able to get through to him! which Black Fairy killed in here but I doubt this was the first damage she caused on his psyche cause she really did a number on him for years that only Roderick was able to be his light side.
At first I didn't like the actress or her accent, not the character either. But when I met Jaime Murray last year that changed lol She was really kind and funny and had so much eye contact the whole time, very sweet person =D So then I liked her, the accent and this character The Black Fairy even though she is not my favourite on the show, but she sure is awesome. I remember how annoyed I got when she said "Savior" :D or anything else with an "R" in it.
Her accent is a British one which is why she pronounces things a bit differently, like the r's. So in the word 'saviour' we don't put so much emphasis on the letter 'r' in it.
I found it so interesting how Fiona was the type of evil she was. I expected the black fairy to be some terrifying CGI monster that breathed fire and dark energy around. But, her evil was way worse: personal, methodical, and vengeful. It just goes to show how evil humans or humanoids can be at their most sinister.
