Mette Rasmussen is one of the most interesting younger players working today. Bend an ear to her work with SAFT, Trio Riot, Chris Corsano, just to point to a few examples. She plays very free and open music, very tightly syncopated music, coaxes a great range of sonic effects from her instrument, and her risk taking is as admirable as her discipline.
This double drummer, double double-bass Quintet cooks and sizzles with a great dynamic range and ensemble interplay. Just pointing to Paul Lytton's 40-plus year career, there is a background of unique world class musicianship here, if visitors to this video are unfamiliar with the players, as Mr K-Dog-DK appears to be.
Thank you Jazz Peter for such a well balanced, high quality recording. Cheers & Kudos.

@@heartensemble2135 Go back... never been there. This garage high culture jazzhouse is not for me. Sounds high quality and spot on timing to my ear, but this kind of music is for someone else.
