I worked for an engineer that spoke like that, I walked away mid sentence a couple of times as he didn't pay overtime and I don't work for free. Elon really struggles when not surrounded by fan Boi cheers.

I worked for a guy who had an *actual* stutter. Fortunately, the first dozen times I interacted with him it was over the phone, so he couldn't see my uncontrollable attempts to hold back laughter until I got used to it enough that it didn't bother me.

Reminds me of his New York Times interview where he told his advertisers to go f**k themselves. Whenever he turned and mugged for the audience and got dead silence or a very few nervous chuckles, I'm sure he heard thunderous applause there, too. He often obviously makes up an exaggeration/boast on the spot, and sometimes makes unintended admissions, like the far below design lifting capacity of the Starship he admitted to in his previous presentation (the figure wasn't on the diagrams).

If a robotaxi would be as profitable as promised, he would be sued by Tesla shareholders for giving it away.
It's a scam. Even if FSD would become reliable (which it cannot), people would need to pay up to be allowed to use their Teslas as robotaxi, as subscription for the ride-hail app or something. A lot of people will apply to use their cars as robotaxis when they are not commuting or doing grocery runs, but since most car use is for commuting or grocery runs, most robotaxis will stay put, earning too little income.

So Ive been watching Tesla FSD 12.3.5 vids (the latest version) ... so far Ive seen: The car drive into a carpark but then get stuck at the end and because FSD cant 'reverse' its way out of a situation, the driver had to take over. I then saw it stop at a pedestrian cross walk and refuse to move forward for no reason whatsoever and the driver had to take over. I saw it on a narrow road which then split into two fail to take either option and was going straight into the garden of a house until the driver slammed his brakes on. I saw it fail to understand it was in a school zone and drop down to 20mph and just kept speeding along like everything was fine. And THIS is what we are banking our Robotaxi hopes and dreams on?
Did you see the one a few weeks ago that blew straight thru two stop signs and cut across three lanes of traffic over solid white line trying to get in a left turn lane.
Thats why he wants to bring the light of consciousness to mars, to rebuild society, in case the robo taxi kill everyone on earth.

Most billionaires don’t tie their name to one of their brands. They once remove it at least.

I think my favorite part of this super cut was how much of it in the beginning was just stumbling followed by "so that's our company's goal" and I was like.. goddamn that sounds just like real company talks.
