I was so annoyed when I saw someone complaining that Bee couldn't go in there without being altered slightly, and I thought that was so dumb of that person 😂
If you can remember the first episode of G1 Transformers you're as old as I am. Remember I'm pulling for you. We're all in this together.
Wheeljack was the first Transformer seen in the G1 cartoon.
Wheeljack looks surprisingly great in robot mode despite the massive legs and kibble. I think it's that the head and chest sculpt that are so spot-on that they sell the whole thing. It probably helps that his legs in the cartoon were never quite Bumblebee levels of "hood shoes" anyway. I bet if you just add a bit of extra paint to his legs, a green stripe and some grey to bring out the toe details, it would really make the mold sing even more.

Funny thing is, thanks to all the 5mm ports he has, plus a spare adapter from the 3P Burning Megatron add on, I was able to place OR Bumblebee, his jetpack and all four weapons (gave OR Wheeljack SS Jazz's weapon, because I am afraid to transform him anymore - and Bumblebee has Brawn's due a complex set of weapon swapping) onto OR Wheeljack.
and I KNOW there's an STL out there, of the blast sheild, with the baseformers they did that one year's, connection part, as an adaptor. I know you can buy all kinds of different roadway pieces with those connectors on them. Think they just got the plain pieces from Airwave, and dupicated them, ran off a bunch, and sellem in like a 10 pack. Ya know, like Hasbro should have done. Since they only halfassed committed to that gimmick, I guess it's a no go on that ever happening. And that really sucks too. I think basformers had far more potential than the weaponizer gimmick, that they refuse to let die. Anyone agree with me? If I had more options, I'd have a MASSIVE base in my dioramas. The way I see it, we don't really sit around playing with our toys, most of us anyways, but we DO spend time posing them, and making scenes. I know I don't speak for everyone on that, but I've got to imagine I'm not the only one, who'll make sets, and scenes for my figures. So many times, I do that, and once my buddy's and family get to check it out, I tear it down, and make another. A million times, I'm like "Why don't I photograph these, and upload them to instagram" and still never do it lol

Finally! You got him! I was waiting for you to review him! I got a pair of them about a week ago! I'll watch the video now and see your assessment! I didn't think I'd like him, but when I got him in hand, I was blown away!
With no wheels, this is accurate. Best to slide on a glass table like Emgo does, for anyone who wants this guy.
If they're going to do this, I want lamppost Soundwave too!

Wheel Jack looks Awesome
I'm still amazed they got this to work on a mainline budget. Like the other Origins figures I'm displaying him in alt mode, and I wish I'd had your JTI getting him there because I had a time with him.
Now we just need an Origin Soundwave whose legs telescope out into a long lamp pole and arms compact down like a Siege tetrajet seeker at teh top end, together with a flying saucer Laserbeak!
