Very informative. TY. You didn't mention much about the sound stage. I have a Cambridge CXA61 integ. amp. I'm not going to switch to a tube amp. I am worried that these speakers will be too fatiguing for me. I like a good sound stage where the sound is musical and not overly bright or detailed. Currently have Monitor Audio Bronze 2 speakers. Do you think I can manage the treble enough with toe-in -out? Your thoughts would be appreciated? John from T.O., Canada.
Your amp is warm so it may be suitable to you. I've noticed with my Triangle that taller stands can sound good too. Like 32" which places your ear more in line with woofer.
One thing I noticed is the treble behavior is different between the Titus and the Comete, according to one review site's measurements. The Titus seems to have less treble energy. Anyone know how they compare if you have heard both?
which would you recommend for TV speakers for movies and sports and everyday TV will be hooked to an 85 inch TV Edifier S2000MKiii Edifier S3000Pro Edifier R2850DB + sub Edifier R1850DB + sub Klipsch THE FIVES + Sub........or is there something else better suited as a 2:1 set up....thx...cheers from Canada
Ironically I have listen to all of these, I think the Triangle hit the ball out of the park with sonics... You need to do more careful equipment matching with these, Tube is the way to go. KEF Meta R3 are on sale now and both of these speakers are at the 2K mark. The Meta's R3 are more forgiving, the Triangles are more detailed and revealing, the Triangles get the big nod to looks.
i have a naim amp and want to get a bookshelf in the 2 k range my candidates are these, martin logan 35xti,sonus faber sonetto 1 g2,elac solano bs 283 and fyne audio f500 my music is 70 porcent jazz 20 rock and 10 in betwin electro and hip hop
Just to make one correction. The midbass driver is not the same as Borea line. Only the color is the same.
Thanks for this - appreciated!
I had some french speakers before which I enjoyed by a company called 'Davis' - though those were floor standers.
Hi nice review. Did you upgrade your Borea 03 to these?
Good to hear your take on this model vs the BR03. The Comete 40th is at this time $2500 US; that's slightly over 7X what the BR03 is going for.
Dale, you have a god points! Good review! Thanks for checking out new products from our store!!!

Hello. I've never tried any of those speakers you listed. I would recommend the Swan D200.

Can’t help you as I’ve never tried any of those speakers.
