- this vlog is about Way to go Mysterious Lake Roopkund.
Me Along with my four villagers started to hike Roopkund from My Village Harni Which is in altitude of approx 7400ft.
Harni is near to Mundoli Lohajung or it is 9km far from Lohajung.
my Village is also a Stopover of Asia's Biggest Religious Hike or tramp also known as Nanda Devi Rajjat Yatra.
Trek Route:-
Dehradun to Basecamp Lohajung:-290km
Haldwani to Basecamp Lohajung:-224km
Lohajung to Latu Dham Wan:-15km
wan to Gairuali Patal then Badini Bugyal:-13km
Badini Bugyal to Bhagwa Basa BaseCamp:-7km
Bhagwa Basa to Roopkund:-3km
it took approx 3-4 days(max) for locals to trek Roopkund but for trekking groups trek duration is one Week.
so First you need to reach Roopkund Basecamp Lohajung there you will find most of trekking stuff after that you'll go to Latu Dham Wan which is the last village of Roopkund trek There you must have to visit Latu Devta Temple Then you tends to Gairuali Patal where you need to give some details after that you'll go to Badini Bugyal where you can't stay in night so you need to go to Patar Nachni then finally you'll reached to Bhagwa Basa Basecamp.

Spetember october is the best time per aajkal bhi ja skte ho best rhega but last Campsite Bhagwa basa me thanda bhut hoga so be prepared with warm clothes.
Or ali bugyal me i guess nahi kr skte camping or bedni me to Restricted hai hi actually me wan ke raaste gya tha so mujhe nhi pta but pta krunga

How many days pre fitness plan required for this trek ? What are the difficulties ?
If you're already into hiking or used to of high altitudes then you don't need much, apart to that for a normal person living in city requires 6-7 days of pre fitness planning as you'll be at 16000 feet at the end.

Brother, Roopkund trek isn't banned, the only thing banned is camping in Uttrakhand meadows, means you can't do camping in Ali Badni meadows which is one of the best site of this trek, that's why most people think that Roopkund is banned.
And perfect timing trek for this trek depends on choice, if you want to experience snow then Jan-feb is good, but again it's difficult in snow. And if you want to enjoy greenary then aug-sept is best.

Mera to ghar hi yahin to hum sath wale hi they sab. 7days mein karte hain waise but depending upon the trekker, jaldi ho jayega, humne 3-4 din mein kiya tha. For stay you can’t camp in meadows. Expenses toh 10k + hi hai yahan ka package

Is mobile network available in roopkund?
No, Networks will not be available approx 4-5 days based on number of days you need, but yeah you can find networks from some rare peaks, it's very rare
Past 2 years this trek is banned by UK but brother we are coming on 14th april 2022, so can u please tell me that this trek is still banned or not.
Trek isn't banned, only camping in Uttrakhand meadows banned.

Usually It's 7days trek, but you can do it in 4days but expenses will be same whether you do it in 7 days or 4 days .
Only thing you'll save is time and it requires more energy.
