A lot of people are getting down lately, who thought when this started we’d still be dealing with this in October with no end in sight. Most people are doing their best to follow the rules so it will go away and we can get back to life but it’s not happening . Things start to improve and the numbers are looking good, we start to hope and........then another wave hits. You’re not alone, we’re all struggling and I applaud you making your videos as positive as you can. It’s not easy I’m sure but it helps a lot of people , especially those who live alone in apartments. As hard as it is for families stuck in their houses with space to find a little time alone, it’s much harder on people who live alone. Youve really cheered me up. Your haul and optismism inspired me to get out and take a lovely autumn walk to Homebargains this afternoon. I picked up the fairy magic painting book and the fairy cookie and left a magic parcel at our 4 1/2 yr old granddaughters door. We live in the North East and with current covid restrictions we can't form a bubble. She thought the fairys had been. I recieved such a lovely video and the book is such lovely quality, I would've paid the full price for it. So thank you for sharing, you've cheered a little girl and her grandma up today. I think a lot of people are feeling the same! My neighbors already have their Christmas lights and decorations on outside their home lol. I love Christmas lights and they definitely make me happy! Fab haul- my favourite are the Christmas dog toys- they’re so cute and an absolute bargain! I can’t believe those tartan blankets are soooo cheap! Great idea to use them as throws for guests! I always stock up on books from home bargains- can’t find them cheaper anywhere. Thanks for sharing!
Such lovely things you found.. I agree Rosie..... ... When the Xmas things came out in the shops a few weeks back I bought stuff for the kids to: for their Advent Callender (which I make), and things for Saint Nikolaus on the 6th of December in Germany, and for their British Santa Sacks. I also bought Christmas cards and a few small family gifts which I almost have ready to send in the post.. Which I want to send in the first November week as we won't be seeing each other this year due to Covid 😢.. I also have all baking supplies, hot chocolate supplies, and sweet treats for Christmas bought.. And I bought BBQcoal, marshmallows because I thought I winter night BBQ fire with hot chocolate and sausages on sticks etc could be fun..especially as the Christmas markets probably won't be open due to the pandemic this year.... Which we usually visit during Advent. Next week I will go through what the kids want for food over the Christmas period and then buy everything I can in the next few weeks.. So only perishable food is left to buy just before Christmas. I think I have most of their main presents to.. I will go through that this week. I always do stuff early because I have stress at work from mid October until Christmas and my kids are often sick at this time of the year.. So I prefer to do things early.. Stress-free!... And with Covid and a possibly 2nd lockdown again.. I want to be prepared so Christmas can still be special... Especially as we are all sad not to be going home to the UK to spend it with our family. I just wish we had such lovely stuff in German shops!.. We missed buying all our English kids books this year because we weren't home in the Summer either due to Covid 😢.. I did pick up a few in January sales on the way back from our UK Christmas last year which I have kept for this years stockings thank goodness! I think we are all in need of early Christmas cheer... 🤗

Hi there. Was pleased to see your notification pop up today. Glad to hear you are feeling more "with it" again. This year has just took us all off our guards. I bought the "12 days of Christmas" wax melts for my daughter and 2 daughter in laws (and my self). I gave them to them all last week (as a pick me up) and they all loved em😀. Also I too stacked up on pet presents🎅. We have 2 small dogs and 3 cats, and i never leave them out at Xmas. They all love ripping the paper off their presents. Got the gravy bones and I got the Xmas tree n ginger bread man plush toys, plus few other things, plus cat presents too. Can't go wrong with any type of gift from homebargains🎁👍. And like you say, some great stocking fillers/Xmas eve gifts. Keep safe and I look forward to your next video 😘
We used to buy our dog a toy, we also wrapped it up when he saw us opening our presents he would go mad running around then my dad would throw his in the air he would catch it ripoff the wrapping paper then go around showing us his toy, you showing is what you bought for Burt brought back these memories thank you loved your video xx

I work for the British legion and we are worried about this year il be honest! We are doing everything we can to make sure people who can donate can in a safe way. Sainsbury’s will be doing things like asking you whether you would like to round up and the change will come to us , contactless (Card) ways to donate etc x

I’ve just made the candle sticks. Found the sticks in the charity shop and sprayed them silver as Poundland ran out. Got the gin glasses though. One of mine is wonky but it’s still useable. I love your videos x
Thanks so much for brightening up our day with your naturally sunny personality. I think it would be strange if you never felt down. I think the darker mornings/evenings always take a bit of adjusting to and along with all the negativity around it understandable that even the most fortunate/positive people feel a bit low at times. We will all adjust I’m sure, and make the most of whatever the situation is. It’s hard trying to think of new things to replace our usual activities for school hols & possibly Xmas. It’s a great opportunity to try something new and maybe find a new hobby. It might just take a while for our heads to all the things we can do rather than get frustrated about what we can’t do. We used to buy our dog a toy, we also wrapped it up when he saw us opening our presents he would go mad running around then my dad would throw his in the air he would catch it ripoff the wrapping paper then go around showing us his toy, you showing is what you bought for Burt brought back these memories thank you loved your video xx

I work for the British legion and we are worried about this year il be honest! We are doing everything we can to make sure people who can donate can in a safe way. Sainsbury’s will be doing things like asking you whether you would like to round up and the change will come to us , contactless (Card) ways to donate etc x

I cant wait for Christmas I feel very low too. Belfast is in lockdown and I just want to feel Christmasy. I bought more decs today in home bargains and heading to range Saturday for more definitely putting tree up earlier. Than normal. Loved your haul it made me smile

Same here work and DIYs going on so autumn decoration limited to the stairway and landing but it will be all lovely fresh and new in time for Christmas which you have now got me very excited for 😃😃 thinking of doing a gingerbread hunt on Christmas eve this year. I’ve just made the candle sticks. Found the sticks in the charity shop and sprayed them silver as Poundland ran out. Got the gin glasses though. One of mine is wonky but it’s still useable. I love your videos x

Thanks so much for brightening up our day with your naturally sunny personality. I think it would be strange if you never felt down. I think the darker mornings/evenings always take a bit of adjusting to and along with all the negativity around it understandable that even the most fortunate/positive people feel a bit low at times. We will all adjust I’m sure, and make the most of whatever the situation is. It’s hard trying to think of new things to replace our usual activities for school hols & possibly Xmas. It’s a great opportunity to try something new and maybe find a new hobby. It might just take a while for our heads to all the things we can do rather than get frustrated about what we can’t do. Your videos will really help. Thanks for sharing x
