To the fact that this started as just a random thought, a random hacker then turned to this blows me away. This man is a truly talented pro, who exactly knows what his audience wants/relates to, all while maintaining himself as a person 100%. Love it. Keep up the work, *High gizmo on the internet.* Can't wait for your other recovery then award.

I'm a grown a^^ man and when she spoke about how the older woman would say, "I don't eat sometimes cause I know I am gonna win, I'm counting on it", almost had me shed a tear. Just sad and messed up people could take advantage of people who are gullible or desperate.

Honestly these guys aren't all that worse than publishers clearing house. It's just a legalized scam and it's not worth the money. My grandma used to always play it when it came in the mail. I eventually convinced her to allow me to "return to sender/remove from mailing list" to each of them. The only thing she ever won was a microwave hot dog holder. Idk about you but a plate works great for me. We're both glad that she has that crap out of her life!

My mother all her life was super smart suspicious sharp and savvy , she’s 88 now and most of the time she’s mentally fine but is plagued by constant worry and anxiety , half believing and almost falling for the massive amount of obvious scams she’s bombarded with daily , constant phone calls , fake letters in the mail from “social security “ , ‘ Medicare “ American Express “ etc . and internet scams from “ Amazon “ . I have to continually remind her these Send Money requests and financial threats are false . It’s terribly sad .

Fraudsters commonly pick on the elderly and the forgiving. One of the most common places that my accounting firm has found fraud is in non-profits and specifically churches. They know that even if they're caught, the organization will likely not pursue charges. We advise our clients that if we come across fraud, no matter the number, that they should show love to the next would be victim and press charges.

It turned out it was a 100 009 dollar winner. How do i know she took my ticket the next day and cashed it. A year after 2 different employees told me about it.

I had a phone call last week. A woman out of the blue I thought was promoting the National Lottery she wanted me to join a scheme where I pay a reduced amount each week for 12 weeks.she was very insistent. I said your telling me the lottery pays you to promote it. surely things haven't slowed to that ...then when she started asking for my bank details i said what I say to all them. I will discuss it with my partner so ring back tomorrow. Obviously she never did .. so is this a new scam someone was trying to establish..I'm not the brightest but not thick either

just goes to show that even WITH AGE AND MATURITY you can still be stupid, 91yrs old , she had her whole life to LEARN about being scammed, yet here she was, 91yrs old and still trusting the world and believing its a good place, MISTAKE NO.1, im 40, i learned the world is a cruel, heartless, evil place, oh when i was about 21yrs old, im 40 now, and i dont believe or trust ANYONE, as a cab driver i still sometimes get scamed by people who have no money to pay their fare, but im the last person that would ever fall for a lotto scam or any other scam like a nigeria prince scam or love scam, even though im single, when someone approaches YOU with good news, RUN AWAY asap, there is always a catch or agenda.
