Electric Slide-in Range with Air Fry
This LG smooth top kitchen range is cutting edge, easy to use and beautiful.
It has nice futuristic front controls, so there is no need to reach across a hot stovetop the adjust a setting. There is a lock feature to the control panel, to avoid accidentally bumping a control and changing a setting, or if you are concerned about small children.
The convection oven feature really sets this apart from a traditional range. Hot air circulates thoroughly throughout the oven with an internal fan, so you can use both racks at a time without being concerned about uneven cooking, such as two frozen pizzas or trays of cookies evenly baking at a time. The oven heats up fast and it is very well insulated, including a well gasketed door. Surrounding surfaces don’t get as hot, even when baking for a long time. It is difficult to tell that the convection fan feature is working since it operates almost silently, but the front display has easy-to-see icons showing which feature is being used. The bottom element is sealed for ease in keeping it clean. There is an EasyClean feature which doesn’t use super high heat or long time periods, and the interior oven light has a cool feature where knocking twice on the oven door turns the light on or off.
The cooktop also has a lot of nice features. The front two burners have optional size diameters of 6” and 9” for the left, and 6”, 9” and 12” for the right. One front burner is an UltraHeat element of 3600 watts for fast heating and the other front burner is 3200 watts. A 5th center rear burner is great for keeping foods warm.
There are so many other features that it is impossible to list them all here, but one is bluetooth and wifi connectivity for remote operation, including a feature where you can scan the barcode of a food item and have the instructions sent to the oven.
There is a durable lid storage drawer, and the fingerprint resistant stainless steel finish perfectly matches my other appliances, the sink and fixtures.
There is a smart phone app that I have yet to try that, but it looks interesting, with bluetooth and wifi connectivity for remote operation, including a feature where you can scan the barcode of a food item and have the instructions sent to the oven.
There is a one-year “limited” warranty, which I thought is rather thin, but seems to be the industry standard.
Overall, this is wonderful kitchen range with fantastic features. It would be nice if it had a longer warranty, and I am hoping that it lasts for the next couple decades without any needed repair. If I have problems, I will update this review accordingly. At this point though, I love this range.

Mine came today. It's not exact but very very close. Mine doesn't have a handle on the storage drawer. But it's a sharp stove. So far so good. Just finished my first batch of brownies. The stove is easy to use. It has Bluetooth and works with the Alexa but honestly I don't see myself using that feature much at all.

Do the words on the control panel eg. control lock, cook time, start time etc and numbera.. light up or illuminated....I know the digital clock does... I bout the LSIL6336F Induction and they do not.. no one at LG can answer for me if they do... if not hard to see in my kitchen due to the angle of the lights.

Agree with comments. Oven claims to have a lot features, but can't say it does any one thing well. Air fryer is a joke...better if you use convection roast. Yes, cleaning glass top is a chore.
Have a broken oven knob. LG Customer service reps. are clueless. Sent the wrong knob, have no clue how to assist me with the knob replacement...if I ever get it.

My oven won't go above 350 on bake, convection bake, convection broil.
Not convection broil, convection roast. Everything so sudden, I haven’t use it for a long time because of that. Anyone know what happened?
Do you know why the one ultra heat burner only can be set to low, 3,6,high? Even when I have mine on low it is boiling like crazy

Only had 1.5 years and knob knob came off because some this broken that won’t allow silver piece to pop back out and the control panel stopped working

The stovetop is great, depending on the cookware that you use. I'm not getting rid of cast iron pans, so scratching is to be expected. Occasional cleaning with a manufacturer recommended product (available at Target, etc) does well at keeping it shiny and clean too. I can't say much about air-frying. I really never understood the need for it, but I'm just old-school.
@@dougmary Thanks! I a leaning towards a basic oven and I will buy separate appliances. My research (since my last response) shows that the add-ons such as air-fryers rarely work properly, when combined with an oven.
Thanks for the video , Planning to purchase this, May I know if the stovetop surface is good or is it peeling off / staining like many of the electric stoves
So far it is holding up well, and that is with occasional use of cast iron pans. The stainless steel outer rim of the stovetop is getting scratched since pots and pans are sometimes slid across the top of it, but I think that is a relatively minor issue and occurs with almost any stainless steel surface.

My led display has started to fail at month 13. Once a few more sections of the LED stop working the oven will be unusable as I will not longer be able to change settings/temp/timer as the screen won't be visible. Give me full dial and manual buttons any day. $2300can I paid for this unit. It begins to fail 1 month past warranty.
That's good information for people to have. Some credit card companies will double a manufacturer's warranty. Might be something to check in to.

@dberman5 I ordered a new led display. Around $100. Didn't get a chance to install it yet but hopefully it will correct the issue.
@@IMiss_The90s hopefully that works. I have to check my receipts and see if I have an extended warranty. Sometimes customer service can be gracious if just outside of warranty for an issue that is clearly not a one-off incident, no pun intended, especially for such a “high-end” product

Yes, there is a lockout feature. Everything that you need to know is in the manual, which is available online. I think many people don't bother reading it.
How do you make back lit controls light up like the ones shown? We must use a flashlight to read them.
According to the owner's manual, the knob lighting feature isn't available on all models. But maybe yours has a defect, especially if you can't read the dials in normal light.

there is a lighted ring on all elements but the oven knob, however it is not very useful to see the markings on the knobs. One goes one way, the other goes another for hi low settings, 3rd burrner, 2nd burner etc. The markings are terrible. The led ring should have lit up the dial markings with laser etching like a backlight keyboard does. Was under-engineered for common sense and usability.

Yes, but not as fast as in the convection mode. I think it keeps the heat more evenly distributed and helps the oven warm faster too.
@@dougmary it has no lower bake element, which largely is the reason shit burns on the top and is raw , uncooked on the bottom. LG even left the holes in the cavity for the lower bake element, but because they decided to re-invent the wheel ( not required) they just dont ship this model with a lower bake element. You get a fan and smaller element at the back to assist with baking. You will enjoy relearning all your recipes and doing math. Forget everything on the boxes for instruction.
This stove is not worth the money the glass top is a joke to keep looking new
