The planet they are on is not Earth, Earth is the planet where it all started, and was the first planet Cyn destroyed. They are on Copper 9. The one in the space suit was Cyn, and she was wearing Tessa, literally.

Honestly I wish the intern guy is still alive we see the building intact after the explosion so maybe the initial blast didn’t kill him but lack of food and water probably got to the poor intern either way justice for intern guy
Maybe he probably died due to the explosion, as we all know at the very beginning of the show in the pilot, they encountered an earth core interruption in their monitor and just killed all of them. The intern guy was pretty near the church, and he might be dead cuz of it. Or perhaps he was killed by the Sentinels since they were out of the broken chains.
This episode had everything I live about this series in spades! They did such a good job at keeping things moving. Just when you started feeling one emotion, they hit you with 4 different ones at once.
The plot comes together if you analyze (or watch people analyze) a TON of small details in every episode that tell a bigger picture… every re-watch there’s another new connection to make without fail!
Basically the important things about the story are; Cyn is the primary host/driver for the Absolute Solver which wants to destroy the universe. The Murder Drones were her friends previously who she turned into what they are now, to kill both humans AND worker drones. Uzi and Doll are products of the humans trying to research the Solver in order to figure out how to stop it, infecting Nori and Yeva (Uzi and Doll’s moms) for that purpose.
N and V were “cured” of the solver by Uzi in episode 5, which is why they aren’t subject to Cyn’s control anymore. So Uzi is now Cyn’s last remaining puppet (and also probably her last remaining major threat) on Copper-9.
And yeah the “Tessa” reveal at the end was Cyn’s original body wearing Tessa’s corpse as a skin suit. Wild.
So the guy at the start was just an intern, but he got in the wrong suit, since they all look pretty similar. Hence why he was confused about what was going on and what this doctor Chambers was supposed to be doing.
And what a way to end that episode! Not clear if Uzi is at the core of the planet, or in space! Can't wait for episode 8 to see what kind of resolution we'll be getting to it all!

Uzi is in fact not in the upside down world. She is in fact floating in space in a debris field as she opens her eyes to the very planet now cracked, hinting that she *might* the only one who survived the destruction of her home.

Tessa is cyn the entire time
Yeah, the show is quite an exercise in putting together the dots, I'm personally a big fan of it though! There's so many little things but once you notice them things really start to make sense. Honestly the show is as much an Eye-Spy book and mystery as it is a comedy and horror.
i love this series for its style and humor but yeah the plot is kind of difficult to follow. they go really hard in style for each episode and the lore bits get a little lost to the horror themes of the episode. it makes great re watch potential as all the little bits are there they're just sort of hidden, like the code flashes for example.

I can say that this episode really step up their production in horror and lore moment within this much time the episode showing the audience.
So here on what I think, it seems to be the “End Game” with Uzi discovering what the humans done to her mom and witness the destruction caused by Cyn. While discovering the moment, both “Tessa” and J are taking the moment of getting rid of evidence and transportation on the planet. It also seems to be shocking value for next episode is the final episode.
So with that said, can we take a moment to appreciate that we gotten a “FNAF” jumpscare with Doll 😨 till next we see Cyn being the true villain by taking over Tessa’s Corpse as a bodysuit 😟. It seems very scary for Cyn “Tessa” to be very uncomfortable to watch or witness her true horror side. So I hope next episode might be the end for Cyn and Uzi be a noble hero to save her planet and not fall like Earth. Since Cyn hacked ever Murder Drone on Earth to kill off the human race than granting them to Copper 9 to destroy.
In case you wondering WTF with Tessa, she was already dead and the solver used her corpse to fuse with cyn body like a Twisted cyborg Frankenstein puppet.
But it wouldn’t make sense why there’s another Tessa that killed the Russian robot girl A.K.A doll. She even appeared in episode 4 at the part where Uzi was looking at the dog calendar scene where before the hand appeared. You can see Tessa sitting on smth and suddenly disappears.
@@VuLe-eo2wo that was the same Tessa that attack doll that took her suit off and those were just some scary hallucinations of the solver at the cabin something like a teaser of our Frankenstein girl. IDK lol.
