Yes you're right. I've read it many times especially when you want to capture an audience but for me it's not about the numbers and it's not just about teaching you chords and scales. Anyone out there can give you that. I choose to do it my way. Hoping that if one is really interested, they'll stick around to the very end. A teacher simply introduces a concept, the student does 60% or more. But thank you for the feedback. Much appreciated. I think you should try to learn guitar with a book. More words, a few chord charts and exercises.
