Lowering plug into my hand dug well 47 foot

Lowering plug into the hand dug well 47 foot and then got hung up 10 foot from the bottom, right above the screen casing. Now well is junk if i don't get it out.

It’s a hand dug water well, last thing to do is put a plug at the bottom

Use a rope instead of a tape measure. Just measure how much rope you used.
