Gas is way better than fire imo. You trade about half damage for a bunch of effects added on. You get a DoT, okay damage, slows, "blinds" AND confusion - even affects Chargers too. NOT sure if it affects Titans, but I think it does. Gas debuff effects naturally mix incredibly well with flamethrowers/fire for maximum damage. Sterilizer + Incendiary Impact is death for most anything bug-related. Gas grenades/Torcher are becoming my new favorite too.
@@big_gucci_scorpio328 Thus far the Dog Breath seems a little bugged in that it only seems to be targeting one enemy at a time. Fine for the other drones, but not for an AoE-weapon. I still like it though. It's not a drone with a flamethrower attached, like I wanted, but I'll manage lol
@@Mystyx-Sama yeah I was thinking the same thing, it may be bugged but it still works enough that I can feel more safe with it around, it works just enough that the torcher can take full advantage of the scattering enemies, and when needed I throw out a gas grenade for the enemies that are slipping past the guard dog, overall gas and flame combo's are almost S-tier imo
Not entirely sure, but when i used gas on chargers and used arc, they took like twice the dmg as normal. Works nicely when you mix smoke nades, gas guard dog and you can just walk in biggest nest unharmed while taking out bug holes.
This thing is underwhelming. Like it can work pretty well combined with the torcher primary, switching back and forth etc. But then you absolutely lack range for shriekers, cause you kinda need the grenade pistol for bug nests and the thermites for chargers in most cases
I brifely used the granades and the gas thrower with the 500 and precision strike and it works well. in tighter areas, they get confused and run into eachother. Perfect for the 500 kg
I think the dot may need something, longer slow damage, armor debuff or whatever. The blind and confuse are pretty good though. Bring on the pesticides!
I feel they miss the mark with the gas The gas should make the bugs and the bots attack each other and if you become affected with the gas your teammates look like bugs that are attacking you😂 so you accidentally team kill your teammates
Nah. To early for that, they don't have the tech yet to swap models right on . . . But this is something that could happen in the future. Not with the gas : With the illuminates. With all they psykic abilities, this could add nightmare on top of their technology
Which one you choose : 1. a support weapon that can kill heavy enemy quickly 2. A support weapon that can confuse enemy but can't kill quickly Me, i choose number 1, so it's better use anti heavy like RR, quasar etc, (personally I love AMR the most, not the best weapon but feels satisfying using it and now it can kill anything) Number 2 sounds great with team, when you using it to distract enemies, your teammates will finish it, but that's why you need to be together all the time
It is great with a team and this isn't solo divers, it's helldiver's! Gather courageous soldiers of freedom and support the destruction of liberty's enemies!
im interested in grenade for gas proc and as replacement for stun grenade but again im worried disorient status will make my shots miss on weakspot, since enemies now randomly move when they disorient
If you play the game a lot, you are pretty much capped to evth inluding medals and of course enough SC to buy the Warbond. So the moment every Warbond launch you start with already owned 250 medals to reach at least Page 2. This is an expensive Warbond btw. Previous Warbond in the very first hour I had purchased all the weapons, boosters etc, the medals were enough. Anw, that's the explanation.
@@theredsalmon612play the game. Clear maps on low difficulty, seek caches & bunkers with teamates, find SC... Pray for that extra 100 SC stack. Profit. Takes Time, sure, but on low with a good team and a bit of reco, you can usually get lucky and evac in 20-25 min with the loot.
if you played the game from start religiously , u would be way overcapped on medals, samples (250 medals, maxed out samples on all), 250 medals allows u to buy up to page 2 of the warbond. and by playing a few games + daily, u should be able to unlock the whole warbond by day 2 or so. That said, thats usually for players who play alot more on higher difficulty 9, 10 same for supercreds, if you know how to farm it solo (which is the way u do it anyways). u can usually get 1000 creds within hours (if u really wanted to do it, its boring though). Personally i had like 6-7k creds from months ago before they nerfed the rate, and till now i still have like 3k spare, never bothered to farm more supercreds.

Torcher and the dog breath guard dog are my favorite rn, if you have it unlocked yet definitely give it a try

Why are you wearing a face diaper
Affects titans, but not as long as the others from what I so, so far... Gotta aim the head too to maximise effect.
I only wish we could detonate gas clouds with incendiary weapons lol
This. I've been saying this for so long...
That would totally ruin the long lasting effect of the gas
@@itriyum it would be just an option, wouldn't ruin anything if you would leave it be

I also noticed that if you can gas a charger enough even if it is already charging at you, sometimes it just turns to another direction

They attack randomly so they do hit each other at times
The gas does so little damage to yourself, You're better off taking the fire resist armour and pairing with a teammate using a flamethrower.
threw a caustic grenade down suffocated an entire Patrol of warriors before they even got off a breach,

Yeah I don't use the gas orbital cause there are so many better options... but the gas grenades are fun

Sorry but the sterilizer sucks hard. The gas grenade is op and the best thing in the warbond.
What about the stim pistol with the healing power of a vitamin gummy bear

It’s not supposed to work like the flamethrower. Get that out your head right now.
What better way to kill a bug than bug spray?
Fire.
How can you buy these things so quickly
