Oh yeah. Game hunting is nice there because there are several stores in the Vegas area to choose from and most have a pretty decent stock to go through. Only problem is that the prices can be rather high. Wii Play was pretty chill and will cut you a little bit of a deal if you buy a decent amount from them.
I actually went to Wii play games a few years ago when I was back visiting family and I was really turned off by them. Every game that I wanted to look at that was in a glass case didn’t have a price tag on them. When I went to ask them how much the games were, they grabbed the games I wanted and went back to the back for about 10 minutes and then came back and gave me a price that was like 50% to 75% over price charting. Not a great way to do business… I understand having a bit of a markup for a brick and mortar store but they were quoting me prices that were ridiculous. I don’t think the store existed back when I was living in Vegas so I think they came around shortly after I moved away.
Wii Play Games is a huge store. Not a ton like that unless you head to LA County. Over here, we have a few "Book Off"s. They have a good amount of import games. Nice to see actually.
Very happy that VGP did a reprint of Blue Reflection so I was finally able to replace the copy that I lost years ago (I was yearning to play it again after beating Second Light). Hope we get a reprint of Nights of Azure next.
I didn’t know that Vegas had such a cool selection of game stores! We wanted to visit to play some claw machines, and now y’all have given us reason #2 to visit, thanks! 😊
Just based on the caption of Fish Battling Games, I now really want that Ace of Seafood. Then on top of that, the fact that this store is not just like a high end stuff, but a mixture of low and high end, is always incredible, makes it a store that everyone can check out. I've said it before and I'll say it again, thank you so much for these videos and exposing us to many stores that (at least myself) have never seen or knew of prior to your vids. That Venom figured really caught my eye, love him as a character. As always, such incredible and wonderful content. Thank you for all the great videos, and keep up all the amazing work, congrats on 13k, now onto 14 (and beyond). #Roadto14k
Fun video! Always great to come along on a hunt and check out different locations! Since obviously you two continue to add to your collection, have you thought of expansion of your current game room or maybe again relocating the collection (say something like a Mort's garage conversion)?
I'm glad blue reflection got a reprint. I was able to finally get a copy. Love that vga been doing so many and get them into gamers hands that will enjoy them
Wii play is way over priced these days. Back in 2017/2018 I was able to score a lot of ps1 Jrpgs from there for cheep. Stopped in recently and walked right out.
Wii play games are very high. I stop going there years ago. Especially, the games are behind the glass. Ugh. But I go to retro city games . They’re very affordable and there one in Chinatown. I just forgot the name. Very reasonable. Love your show! 😊.
@@JRPGLife I think Fates was the divisive one. I haven’t gotten to it yet, so I can’t really give an opinion. That’s just from what I’ve heard. Love the videos guys!
Have you gone game hunting in Las Vegas? Comment below!

Ouch. Yeah some of their prices were a bit high, but we picked and chose some of the specific ones that were priced fairly
Another amazing video I always enjoy watching
Thanks so much for saying so!
@6:10 ITS NOT A GOOD GAME? I was not prepared to be physically assaulted in a JRPGLife video.
Lol I think we mixed it up with one of the bad FE games. Honestly we haven't played this particular one yet 😅
@@JRPGLife well it depends on who you listen to, but if us FFXIII enjoyers should know one thing, it's not to trust others 🤣
True!

Book off is great! We went to one in a recent video 😀
@@JRPGLife Need to check that out!

You have great taste!

Anytime! These stores were great 😀
You guys are awesome, thanks for this treasure ☺️

You are too kind Neil, thanks for watching!
I added more games to my 3DS collection, I got Radiant Historia and 7th Dragon, both new. Might keep them sealed and get digital copies to play.
7th dragon is so fun!
I think Blue Reflection might depreciate in value with all the new reprints unfortunately. Overall, amazing video as always!
Thanks so much for saying so!
I recall seeing B.R. at regular retail. Much like Berserk Band o/t Hawk. I skipped getting it at $15 thru Gamestop. D'-oh!
Fun video! Always great to come along on a hunt and check out different locations!

We would love to someday, but with current house prices in AZ it won't be any time soon 🫤
I really like the two of you and your content. Greetings from the Netherlands 😄
Thanks so much! 😀

12:34 That's the cover art for Sonic R, but the logo for Sonic Jam..... weird. Also, do you remember how much that Sonic watch was?
I think like $120?
Keep up the good work see you on the next
Thanks so much!
great Pick Up’s guys I’ve watching a back log of your video since I wasn’t into games for a bit
Oh the cats. You should do a video of them
Lol that would be funny, and boring, depending on the cat 🐈
Great video. I didn’t know there was a Jaws 3ds game that’s cool.
Thanks so much!
Fire Emblem shadow of Valentia is one of my favorite fire emblem games 🔥
I must go here 😮
Right?! Vegas is PACKED
Man said Fire Emblem Echoes wasn’t a good game :( most Fire Emblem fans would say it’s potentially the best one right next to Awakening.
Yeah I mixed it up with another one 😅
@@JRPGLife I think Fates was the divisive one. I haven’t gotten to it yet, so I can’t really give an opinion. That’s just from what I’ve heard. Love the videos guys!
Me going for the full vita set and being 2 hours from vegas. I might have paused on the vita multiple times.
Their selection was surprisingly good 😀
@@JRPGLife surprisingly good for someone with no vita or few vita games or someone like me who has 290
I just love jrpg!
We love JRPGs too! :)
FF MQ is peak FF.
Fire Emblem Echoes is not a good game ??? Are you out of your mind, it's superb
Yeah I mixed it up with a different FE 😅
8:12 "It's in a rough part of town, so ... umm ... be prepared for that." LOL Great video, thank you for sharing some good places to check out in LV.
Lol thanks so much for saying so 😀
The Sherlock Holmes game is a point and click type affair.
