As a hint for the vegemite, you only do a tiny little amount spread all over toast, or it’s way too over powering otherwise 😂
We don’t drink that tea, I’ve never heard of it
For the health ratings, every packaged food product we have has it, it’s a law (actually really smart)
If you ever want to you should try the vegemite and cheese shapes (they’re the shape of Australia, taste better than vegemite)
A major meal you missed out is fish and chips! That’s a big lunch option
Fairy bread is incredible, try it with chocolate sprinkles instead!

    Australian here! Hannah well done!
    Some comments!:
    - I've had vegemite on toast near every day of my life and contrary to what a lot of Aussie's will say about "just put a little on", I go absolutely ham with it. Devastated you didn't like it! I have it under my eggs, I have it on dry weetbix, I have it on pancakes. I looove it.
    - If you are able to try tim tams again, you MUST try this: Bite off both ends and then use it as a straw to drink a hot chocolate through. It melts, it's insane, it's life.
    - Burger rings are awesome, correct. Pizza shapes are the bomb, every other flavour is very meh in my opinion!
    - With the snag in bread, we don't have them in rolls! Just literally on a piece of regular buttered bread. So buttered bread, chuck the sausage on diagonally, put some nice charred onion on top if you're fancy, and a bit of tomato sauce (ketchup). That's how it's typically done. You can get em like that for a $1 out the front of Bunnings and also strangely at every centre where I've gone to vote.
Love your stuff Hannah! Would love to see a second Aussie vid where you try other foods!

Another Australian here to back you up! Hilarious for the shapes that she couldn’t get the pizza flavour and was like “why can’t it be a hexagon”... pizza shapes are literally a hexagon hahah! Superior in flavour and shape 😂

This was so funny to watch as an Aussie, I love all the snacks you hated 😂They were childhood staples! Shapes are different shapes for different flavours 😁 Don’t feel bad about having a sausage in a roll for dinner, it genuinely is super common and WELL loved, so much so that our local hardware stores (Bunnings) sell them on Saturdays to raise money for local clubs/groups (also we call it a sausage sizzle! Or specifically a “Bunnings snag” if it’s from Bunnings on a Saturday 😂)

Loved the video x I would love to see you try a polish diet
Breakfast, you could have some polish bread with polish ham or cheese and some tomato or cucumber.
Common lunches or dinners would be Pierogi, Barszcz, Bigos, Kotlety, Rosot
Common desserts would be Szarlotka (polish apple pie), Karpatka, Polish cheesecake
Common snacks would be Jezyki, Princessa, Draze, Michalki, Ptasie Mleczko, Paluski
Polish food is amazing and I'm sure you'd love it.

OMG! I used to live there when I was a kid and we used to have all of that in our pantry. They’ve got lovely sweets called wonka red skins, their sweets/choc ain’t the best. Ice creams are amazing though. The pizza flavoured shapes omg makes me feel like I’m a kid again 🤣 used to have them in my packed lunch and used to have fairy bread at parties 🤣🤣. Party pies are so nice as well, they’re frozen mini pies of the one you made. Loved this video ❤️

  • @jocelynohalloran3550
    @jocelynohalloran3550 4 роки тому +2

I laughed so hard as this!! Being an Aussie, (I love in the tiny triangle at the bottom that always gets left off 🤣) I was squirming when you put the vegemite on your toast as most people who don’t know what it’s like smother it thick but you put the exact right amount on! It’s a shame you couldn’t get Pizza shapes as they are the best flavour, also BBQ shapes are also popular. Both of which are always in our pantry, as are burger rings and Tim tams. Lol! We have our meat pies smothered in tomato sauce and was pleased you did that too! Something else for the BBQ is just a hamburger in bread and the sausage in bread, we are very easily pleased when it comes to our barbies!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

As an Australian vegemite is something you have to grow up eating to like. It’s so normal if you start eating it young, but if you don’t grow up with it, it’s really salty to the average person. You got the spread right too! So many people lather it on like Nutella, it only needs a tiny amount! 💛💛

We don't drink that tea at all, never even heard of it before. Most tea drinkers drink Nerada tea. We are far better known for our great coffee.
A bit thick on the Vegemite, that amount is more for the hardcore Aussie vegemite eater. There is no beef in it, it's completely vegetarian.
We have cold days-or cold to us lol. That filling looks just right.
We don't eat ketchup, we have tomato sauce. The classic snag in bread is a slice of white bread with the snag on an angle with some fried onion. If you were having that at a barbie you would put whatever sides you like with it.
Hundred& thousands, that's kids party food.

This is a classic to watch, the internet lies... you need to put way more butter with the toast and less Vegemite! Also never used that tea in my life.
Tomato sauce on your pie is true Aussie style

Interesting Video! We are in our 80's and feel better than ever! For us ... we went to a whole-food plant-based diet to overcome life-threatening illnesses and it worked! We're doing research for our tiny new healthy-aging advice channel to inspire others! Learned from you and thank you!

We have that at Poland too and many countries does but in England it is really unusual like I can barely see any in shops , at Poland we would have special tea shops with leaf tea 😅🙈

Julia Caroline yeah there is that’s true but it’s different as at Poland you have all the flavours you can imagine and here it’s just a standard tea xx

With the timtams I’ve seen someone bite off two diagonal corners and apparently you can use it as a straw for milk (saw it in Dan and Phils Australia vlog)
