The real life Fran Drescher situation was much messier, because Fran's then husband had become controlling and erratic and the marriage broke up because Fran couldnt tolerate it anymore. Later when Fran had cancer they both reconciled.

Yeah, be mad, but He had his reasons and some people don't realize it bc of what people expect from them.
I like Fran, her friend, her husband and her mom. Her dad is very ok also. Eliotte and other characters are very good, except of her "mom" and granny from Nanny. This mom was always too much for my taste, granny was ok, but she's way too old here to be funny. It's rare when I like almost all actors. For example in How I met your mother they all are irritating to me, so I couldn't watch this show.
